Are you wondering how to show love to your parents? Does home feels like wildfire is ravaging through it? You are always at loggerheads with your parents and the house can’t seem to contain all of you.
Quick questions for you;
1. How many of these bushfires are you causing?
2. How many rules did you break?
3. What could be happening now if you had just listened and obeyed their instructions?
It takes two to tango and a coin definitely has two sides. Don’t totally blame them for the heat in the house. You should work at learning how to show love to your parents.
Now, your parents couldn’t have decided to make the house uncomfortable for you. You think they are, because you are not having your way, you want them to be fine with your behavior and just keep quiet.
Check yourself very well and see where you did wrong. Find your faults, make amends, and see if the temperature won’t go down at home.
See if the house won’t be large enough for everyone, Including you.
“my child, you must follow and treasure my teachings and instructions.”
Prov. 2:1
Be the peace you want to see at home. Yes, be at peace; learn how to show love to your parents.
Finally, remember God’s command about obeying your parents and the benefits of doing so. Take it to heart and practice it.
“Do not deceive yourselves by just listening to his word; instead, put it into practice.”
James 1:22 GNT
God bless you richly as you honor your parents. Amen.
Prayer: Father, help me to scrutinize my ways and make changes in all the areas I need to.
Action point: Scrutinize your words, actions, thoughts today, and see where your faults lie. When you find them, speak about them to your parents and ask for their help.
Declaration: My children are well behaved. They do not make the home uncomfortable for anyone. They do not set the home on fire by their actions and inactions.
What is that one quality you should watch for in a prospective lover or spouse?
There are many qualities, and there are many attraction points, but one thing you should take into cognizance is what I want to talk about this morning.
This quality can preserve a couple and make their marriage last longer. I am talking about the quality of meekness.
What is meekness?
Meekness simply means being submissive, being teachable. Meekness is not weakness, rather it is strength under control
The Merriam-Webster Dictionary describes meekness as having or showing a quiet and gentle nature; not wanting to fight or argue with other people.
Let’s take a look at the scriptures:
Whose adorning let it not be that outward adorning of plaiting the hair, and of wearing of gold, or of putting on of apparel; [4] But let it be the hidden man of the heart, in that which is not corruptible, even the ornament of a MEEK and quiet spirit, which is in the sight of God of great price.
1Pe 3:3-4 (KJV)
The scriptures advise that aside from the pulchritude, which is evident in adorning of the hair, use of jewelry, and nice wears, let there be an adorning of the heart as well, that is an ornament of MEEK and quiet spirit.
You see, we all come into relationships with baggage, baggage from the past, issues from past emotional upheavals, tensions arising from strained relationships in the past, highly opinionated postures emanating from parental upbringing, warped ideas resulting from emotional, verbal, sexual, and physical abuses, and the list goes on.
The only way we can survive in a relationship or marriage with all the undesirable and irritating baggage is to be MEEK!
To be teachable and submissive. That is the only way to make it in relationship and marriage

A hard posture, statue-like stance in relationships will always almost destroy any courtship. Flexibility and willingness to adjust and learn new things will go a long way to add spice and fun to your relationship or marriage.
Even as a child of God, your success is predicated on continual renewal of mind, with the word of God. The word of God is the key to learning meekness. There is a change and a transformation that come into your life as you behold the word of God.
But we all, with open face beholding as in a glass the glory of the Lord, are changed into the same image from glory to glory, even as by the Spirit of the Lord.
2Co 3:18 (KJV)
If you are already in a relationship, that is one way to start changing. You cannot change your lover. If you attempt it, you will be frustrated. You are not equipped to change anybody. But with the word of God and its study, anybody can make a change in his or her life.
God loves those who are meek and teachable!
CONFESSION FOR THE DAY I am meek and teachable for my lover
PRAYERS FOR THE DAY Oh Lord, give me a teachable heart.
THOUGHT FOR THE DAY 1Pe 3:4 (KJV) But let it be the hidden man of the heart, in that which is not corruptible, even the ornament of a MEEK and quiet spirit, which is in the sight of God of great price.
Marriage wine can often dry up, turn sour or simply lose taste. Relationships can lose the spark, the fun, and the glee! Love can wane, can grow old, and can fast dissipate. Feelings are fickle, never with a forever status.
What do you do when love seems to wane, when the tummy butterflies have all rested their wings, love birds have no more songs when his or her words evoke no more feelings, and the blushing, the dimples, and the smiles have all gone?
What do you do at such times? This is the subject of our discourse this morning.
Everything used to be intense, but recently, you are no longer excited. You are married, and the marriage bed has gone cold.
The bedroom used to be a trip but right now it is a complete bore. You could almost be reading a novel while you are at it, and yet the Bible unequivocally advises that
Let her be as the loving hind and pleasant roe; let her breasts satisfy thee at all times; and be thou ravished always with her love.
Pro 5:19 (KJV)
What happened?
Here are a few things that could steal the wine off the marriage shelf, that could sap out and zap off every fun in the union.
Did you miss out on yesterday’s devotional, we’ve got you covered kindly go HERE. For KHC video Devotionals kindly go HERE
1. When you allow pressures to stifle the pleasure There will always be pressures, especially pressures from work. Wise husbands and wives learn to leave office pressures at the office and not bring them home.
Decide to enjoy your marriage through vibrant communication and unhindered flow irrespective of the pressures that be.
2. When you allow the hustles and bustles of life to steal your rest in God Whether you like it or not, there will always be issues to deal with. You must have a commitment to each other in marriage to put each other first place after God.
3. When you refuse to spend quality time together Love will wane when you don’t spend time with each other. Nothing will ever replace quality time spent together enriched with destiny discussions and plans for the future.
Those times of fellowship can never be replaced with any other thing. With compromise, quality time will become dangerous time, bringing with it, damnation and guilt.
4. When you refuse to give yourself self development and learn how to please each other Bringing new wine into a relationship or marriage can be learnt. Both parties must give attention to learning. Learn how to minimize your weaknesses and maximize your strength
5. When you stop praying and the devil starts preying When the wine finished at the wedding at Cana in Galilee, they had to enlist the help of Jesus.
There is no doubt that the supernatural is needed in keeping the bedroom fire hot and in bringing fresh wine into relationships and marriage.
Keep your relationship and marriage established on the foundation of prayers!
Have a great day!
CONFESSION FOR THE DAY The devil has no place in my home.
PRAYERS FOR THE DAY Oh Lord, increase my passion for my lover.
THOUGHT FOR THE DAY 1 Corinthians 13:5 Doth not behave itself unseemly, seeketh not her own, is not easily provoked, thinketh no evil;
The power of your words cannot be overemphasized. The destiny of any child can be shaped by the parents, long before the child is born.
Words declared over the baby go a long way to determine how the baby will turn out to be. That is why fathers are called upon to declare blessings over the child at the point of naming.
We see an example in the bible.
Luke 1:76 [KJV]And thou, child, shalt be called the prophet of the Highest: for thou shalt go before the face of the Lord to prepare his ways;
This was Zechariah praying for his child. He prophesied over his child. He spoke into the future of his child. He declared positive words into the life of his son. He declared God’s word over the baby. The power of your words over your children is great.
This that Zechariah did is what parents ought to do from time to time. From a tender age, learn to declare faith-filled words into the lives of your children.
It is not too late to start. Regardless of how old your children are, you can still speak into their future. Yes, speak! The power of your words over your kids is great.
You can decide how their tomorrow will eventually turn out with the words of your mouth.
Prayer: My children will make an impact in life, in Jesus name. Amen
Action point: Start declaring positive words over your children.
Declaration: My children will inherit the earth. They will rise higher and higher. They are not limited by anything. They are God lovers.
Writing letters is powerful. It is one of the most potent forces to stir, sustain and fuel love between two people. Interestingly, chatting, audio calls, and video calls have taken the place of letters, and yet none of those could do what a letter would have done.
E-mailing may be close to it, but there is nothing like that feeling of reading a letter from your lover in his or her handwriting.
Single or married, when last did you write a letter to your loved one?
Oh, Pastor, it’s old-fashioned Well, so is love! God wrote letters on stones for the children of Israel.
In the New Testament, God is still writing letters, but now He is writing His laws into our hearts directly!
Much of God’s love was communicated and expressed with love letters to us. The Bible is simply a book of letters to us.
Pauline’s epistles were letters.
Ye see how large a letter I have written unto you with mine own hand.
Gal 6:11 (KJV)
He kept on writing letters, and those letters are references all over the world today. His letters outlived him. Your letters are much more powerful than you.
It was said concerning Apostle Paul that
For his letters, say they, are weighty and powerful; but his bodily presence is weak, and his speech contemptible.
2Co 10:10 (KJV)
Did I write letters? I wrote volumes of them. Everything God told me, every dealings, every experience, the visions, and aspirations, were all succinctly communicated to my loved one while we were in courtship.
I wrote her I would preach. I wrote her we would preach together. I wrote her God told me I would teach about relationships as far back as 1997!
And that helped her significantly to cooperate with what God would do with my life. And those letters are still in our room today. Preserved on paper and on our hearts.
I have been writing KHC newsletters since 2007, and devotionals since 2010. Do you know that they are simply letters from me to you? Daily letters that have touched several lives across the globe. Daily letters that have saved many a relationship and marriage from the brink of an imminent crash.
If by reason of proximity, letter writing will be cumbersome, then do mails, and write the mails like letters.
Some of the most powerful blogs we have on earth today are simply letters, the communication of a deep-seated thought or an idea in someone’s heart.
So, why don’t pick your pen and do a letter to that loved one?
Did you miss out on yesterday’s devotional, we’ve got you covered. Kindly go HERE. For KHC video Devotionals, kindly go HERE
And for those who have nobody writing any letters, I pray today, that God will cause your path to cross with that man or woman He has ordained for you in Jesus name.
Write a love poem. Write about how much you love him or her. Write about how much you value him or her.
Write on the picture you have in your heart about him or her that you’ve not been able to find words to communicate. Write about the qualities that endear him or her to you that you have never articulated before.
Write a letter and end that prolonged quarrel!
Write a letter today, and say something good from your heart. Appreciation that is not verbalized or documented dies eventually. And yet that appreciation can be the needed fuel for your loved one to keep going another mile!
May God grant you more understanding!
Have a blessed day!
CONFESSION FOR THE DAY I choose to communicate rightly with my lover through letters
PRAYERS FOR THE DAY Oh Lord, increase my passion for my lover.

ACTION PLAN FOR THE DAY Write love letters to him/her
There are so many things you can do as a wife that will earn you high scores with your hubby. We may often get confused as to what we should do as wives. That was my case a few years ago when I just got married to my hubby. I was always reading books on marriage.
All I wanted to be was the best wife and for my husband and me to be so loving. I had that burning desire and I still do. At that time, the numerous books I read left me confused as there were so many things to be done.
I feel there are basic things we should consecrate on as wives. Our husbands have different needs per time. Their needs and what they desire change due to a lot of reasons ranging from work pressure, age, social status, background, financial status, health, spiritual needs, taste, temperamental makeup, emotional strength, and so on.
With all these changes and with the fact that our husbands are not so relational, that they will not necessarily communicate their needs to us as we expect.
That is why the woman should use her God-given ability to perceive and her intuition. Never be presumptuous or emotional in determining your husband’s needs.
Here are 5 helpful things you can do as a good wife.
Did you miss out on yesterday’s devotional, we’ve got you covered kindly go HERE. For KHC video Devotionals kindly go HERE
1. Lovingly ask your husband what his present needs are and how you can meet them. Even though your husband will not tell you what he needs sometimes because of his ego, he will tell you when you ask him. Men are logical and prefer to be asked how you can help, rather than they ask you to help them. They feel more secure and a little bit protected.
When you do this as a wife, it shows you are not claiming you know him but respect him enough to approach him about how he wants you to best meet his needs.
It also shows humility and a willingness to treat him as a unique individual with specific desires.
We will continue tomorrow…
God bless your marriage.
CONFESSION FOR THE DAY I will be a helpmeet indeed to my husband
PRAYER FOR THE DAY Ask God to help you fulfill your role as a wife
THOUGHT FOR THE DAY
ACTION PLAN FOR THE DAY Put the above point into practice
You should learn how to watch your thoughts. Everyone has a responsibility. And as we grow older and scale different milestones, our responsibilities increase.
There are consequences for when we carry out or do not carry out our responsibilities.
As a child, you might ask, “What is my responsibility? I am just a child, why should I be responsible?”
Know this, you are responsible for three things – your WORDS, THOUGHTS, and ACTIONS.
These three things are important.
Your thoughts come from within you. They can be positive or negative, that is good or bad.
Bad thoughts tend to come from having issues with others and if not quickly checked, can damage your spirit, mind, and body. You should learn how to watch your thoughts.
Have you ever seen a mango with a black spot on it? If the rot stays on longer, it enters deep into the fruit till the whole fruit becomes rotten.
You have to throw that fruit away. I don’t think anyone would want to eat it.
For instance, someone steps on your toes in class. What hurts more was that the person didn’t even say sorry. You begin to harbour ill thoughts towards the person and think of ways to pay them back.
It can get to the stage that when you see them or someone mentions their name, you frown your face. This shows unforgiveness.
It’s unhealthy for your spirit, mind, and body. Sometimes, some health issues are a result of unforgiveness.
Yes, the person stepped on you but you have a responsibility to not allow the person’s action to affect you that much.
Look at these verses:
The Lord hates evil thoughts. But he is pleased with kind words. Prov. 15: 26 ICB.
Look at another
The Lord looks into a person’s feelings. He searches through a person’s thoughts. Prov. 20:17 ICB
Here is yet another
Be careful about what you think. Your thoughts run your life. Prov. 4:23 ICB
Are they saying something to you? One good way to control your thoughts is through prayer. Pray and ask God for help to forgive so you can be forgiven too. So learn how to watch your thoughts by praying.
That has been a while o! Our first boy is out of University/College and the last is almost out of Secondary school/High school. God has been good.
But I still remember those lessons. Singles will learn from them. Let’s go!
Just like a pregnant woman, most of us are pregnant with greatness. Some of us are even having multiple pregnancies
Pregnancy with a woman begins with a seed from a man and a receptacle from a woman. In the same way, pregnancy of destiny and greatness in you begins with a seed.
What is that seed?
Now the parable is this: The seed is the word of God.
Luk 8:11
What is the receptacle?
When any one heareth the word of the kingdom, and understandeth it not, then cometh the wicked one, and catcheth away that which was SOWN IN HIS HEART. This is he which received seed by the way side.
Mat 13:19
The receptacle is your heart.
If there is the seed of the word, and you receive that word in your heart, you will conceive
Here are a few things about the pregnant woman.
1. A pregnant woman is often selective of what she eats
Not everything is safe for the baby. In the same way, not everything is safe for your consumption when you are pregnant with greatness. There are things you don’t eat. You let go of spiritual junk. For example, pornography and sexual looseness will not help the baby!
2. A pregnant woman often has strange appetites
Your appetite for the word must go beyond normal. You must have a “strange” appetite for devouring the word. This strange appetite can often come with a strange combination of food. Garden egg and butter! Lol…
In the same way, you study the word beyond what a normal person is doing. You must learn to combine Isaiah with John to sometimes get what you want for your baby!
Did you miss out on yesterday’s devotional, we’ve got you covered. Kindly go HERE. For KHC video Devotionals, kindly go HERE
3. Another time comes and she eats everything in sight
She just wants to eat everything. In the same way, This book of the law shall not depart…
You read your Bible, listen to tapes, read books, yet you are not content.
Night unto night showeth knowledge… Your voracious appetite for God’s has word has no equal.
Thy words were found, and I did eat them; and thy word was unto me the joy and rejoicing of mine heart: for I am called by thy name, O LORD God of hosts.
Jer 15:16 (KJV)
So we see clearly, a part of the process of conception and delivery of every greatness has a lot to do with the word.
Keep taking the word. Your greatness is sure. There will be no greatness without the word. There will be no marriage without the word. Jesus Christ, the word himself was at the wedding at Cana of Galilee!
“In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. The same was in the beginning with God. All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made.”
Joh 1:1-3 (KJV)
Get in the word today! Conceive! Deliver! And your greatness shall be seen!
Have a blessed testimony-filled day!
CONFESSION FOR THE DAY I choose to feed rightly.
PRAYERS FOR THE DAY Oh Lord, increase my desire for the word.
THOUGHT FOR THE DAY Psalms 19:2 Day unto day uttereth speech, and night unto night sheweth knowledge.
This is a very practical topic. Sometimes, husbands do things that annoy their wives and they don’t even know it.
The man may be born again, tongue talking, demon chasing, and heaven-bound. This does not really matter.
We all as believers are trying to walk more and follow the dictates of the spirit. The more we walk and follow the dictates of the spirit, the better and more sensitive we are and the better our relationship with our spouse is.
We are able to apologize on time and forgive easily. Everybody, whether male or female has certain tendencies.
Unfortunately, it is those tendencies that annoy our spouse because the opposite really does attract. When we attract each other and are married, then we begin to repel each other. We must manage these differences if we must live a happy married life.
Here are 10 things husbands do that annoy the wife
Did you miss out on yesterday’s devotional, we’ve got you covered kindly go HERE. For KHC video Devotionals kindly go HERE
1. Husbands annoy their wives when they spend all their evenings hanging out with their buddies and leave their wives alone.
2. When the husband is glued to the television watching a match or movie and gives his wife monosyllable answers. She is gradually taught to bottle things up.
3. When the husband watches his wife do all house chores without offering a helping hand. She feels like a slave and could be bitter. The husband in turn is frustrated but he caused it.
4. When the husband keeps secrets and hides things from his wife.
5. When the husband does not compliment and appreciate his wife but does that to other women.
6. When the husband doesn’t give enough money for the house keeps yet, expect the most expensive things to eat, wear and expect a beautiful house.
7. When the husband demands respect at all cost without being loving and tender to his wife.
8. When the husband expects a super woman and a ‘lamb’ in the day and a ‘lion’ at night. He expects her to be submissive in the day and aggressive in bed at night.
9. When the husband expects the wife to be near perfect with no flaws when he himself is not in any way near perfect. He excuses his own shortcomings but he is hard on his wife’s weakness.
10. When the husband is not a faithful friend and does not honor the marriage vows but expects his wife to be a faithful covenant partner.
God bless our families

ACTION PLAN FOR THE DAY Ask for God’s help in the journey of marriage.
Look at another powerful, inspiring, and breathtaking verse in Psalm 139, which talks about you being wonderfully made.
Psalm 139:14 – “I praise you, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made. Wonderful are your works; my soul knows it very well.”
What is this verse telling you? How do you feel when you read this?
You should feel important and unique that your Yahweh says you are as wonderful as all His works.
Let’s break down this verse
“I praise you, for I am fearfully
This means that you are meant to instill fear in the enemy’s heart because you are made of God.
“…and wonderfully made”
Never has the world seen a unique and one-in-a-lifetime person like you. The world has never experienced you before. out of all the billions of people on the earth, none is like you.
“Wonderful are your works:”
Everything God made is wonderful, exquisite, and a blessing to all mankind. This same God made you.
“my soul knows it very well.”
The psalmist acknowledges that even his soul knows how great a creation he is. He knows that God didn’t make him ordinary. God made him be a special type of creation, different from all the other creations of God.
Write this verse down and memorize it. When people try to put you down and say you are nothing, tell them how the mighty God made you the most special of all His creations.
May the reality of how God made you always stick with you. Amen.
Prayer: Lord, thank You for how special You made me. I am special. I am special.
Action point: Reflect more on this verse and write down the wonderful things you know about yourself. You can also ask people around you too.
Have you laughed yet this morning? Oh, why not just go ahead and laugh right now. It’s so simple, isn’t it? And yet it’s so powerful!
The three-minute short video below explains why you should keep laughing. Quickly watch this to understand why you should keep laughing before reading on.
Isn’t that funny?
Take a look at the scripture again
Why do the heathen rage, and the people imagine a vain thing? The kings of the earth set themselves, and the rulers take counsel together, against the LORD, and against his anointed, saying, Let us break their bands asunder, and cast away their cords from us. HE THAT SITTETH IN THE HEAVENS SHALL LAUGH: the Lord shall have them in derision.
Psa 2:1-4 (KJV)
What we see as massive issues and problems, God is just laughing at them and you know what, He wants you to laugh along!
Why should you laugh? Because your victory is guaranteed.

He that sits in heaven shall laugh and who is that? God! But then that’s not the end. Look at this scripture:
And hath raised us up together, and MADE US SIT TOGETHER IN heavenly places in Christ Jesus:
Eph 2:6 (KJV)
So what do we do? We laugh as well.
Rather than get bothered about being still single or experiencing delay, get rejoicing!
Every time you laugh about something, you are actually laughing about something! Because it’s the joy of the Holy Ghost, there are things He sees you cannot see…so you simply cooperate with His joy and flow with it!
No more sadness. No more depression! No more despondency!
Keep laughing and you will soon really laugh!
Good morning!
CONFESSION FOR THE DAY I will rejoice evermore. No more sadness. No more depression. Celebration is my portion.
PRAYER FOR THE DAY Bind the spirit of depression in your life
THOUGHT FOR THE DAY Joh 16:24 (KJV)Hitherto have ye asked nothing in my name: ask, and ye shall receive, that your joy may be full.
ACTION PLAN FOR THE DAY Decide to be joyful and full of celebration.
If there is something married couples need more than anything, it’s the ability to remain joyful in the midst of intense financial pressures, emotional pressures, and marital issues.
As husbands and wives, you have to learn how to laugh always and stay in rejoicing mode! Take a look below at a three-minute video and understand why you should keep on laughing!
The scripture used above says
Why do the heathen rage, and the people imagine a vain thing? The kings of the earth set themselves, and the rulers take counsel together, against the LORD, and against his anointed, saying, Let us break their bands asunder, and cast away their cords from us. HE THAT SITTETH IN THE HEAVENS SHALL LAUGH: the Lord shall have them in derision.
Psa 2:1-4 (KJV)
The pressures that show up in marriage can be overwhelming! One of the ways to handle these pressures is to maintain your joy!
Jesus made efforts to keep us joyful. He said so many things to us just to keep us in that state of joy.
He said here in His word:
Hitherto have ye asked nothing in my name: ask, and ye shall receive, that your joy may be full.
Joh 16:24 (KJV)
Here, He said we should ask. Rather than allow that marital situation to drive you into some sad mode or regrettable mode, Jesus tells you to ask, and you will receive and your joy will be full.
God wants you excited and laughing and rejoicing.

Good morning!
CONFESSION FOR THE DAY I will rejoice evermore. No more sadness. No more depression.
PRAYER FOR THE DAY Bind the spirit of depression in your home
THOUGHT FOR THE DAY Joh 16:24 (KJV)Hitherto have ye asked nothing in my name: ask, and ye shall receive, that your joy may be full.
I believe we remember the story of blind Bartemeus in the Bible. His story illustrates how to get answers to your prayers.
What if the blind man had not asked what the surrounding ruckus was about?
What if he had just continued begging and minded his business?
Something in him must have stirred him up to ask what was happening. He probably had been nursing a desire to have his sight, and when he heard that Jesus was around, it aroused his expectation. Pay attention to this story so you can learn how to get answers to your prayers.
Quickly, he opened his mouth and screamed the most he had ever done in his life. He knew it was now or never.
He had to have heard of the acts of Jesus to have done what he did. Even when they tried to shut him up, he screamed the more. This was the day he had been waiting for, and nothing or no one would stop him from getting what he wanted.
This was the same Jesus that had been healing people, and someone wanted him to shut up. He gave it his all and never regretted doing so. That is how to get answers to your prayers.
Are you expecting to have what you are praying for? Are you listening to the voices telling you your prayers won’t be answered? Allowing people or circumstances to shut you up?
Be like that man and scream the more. Jesus is ready to command you to be brought before him. And when you get in front of Jesus, know what you want.
You will never regret calling on Jesus.
Prayer: Lord, give me an expectant heart. Teach me to expect answers to my prayers. Amen.
Action point: Visualize your prayers as answered. See yourself in the light of prayers answered.
Declaration: I am expectant. My miracle will not pass me by.
Being joyous is a decision. It is not something that comes upon you. It is not a gift. It is not the reserve of some certain people. It is a decision that you must make in other to joyfully walk down the aisle.
Is it because you have not been found or you haven’t found as the case may be? That would not be enough reason to look sad and miserable. Decide to be joyful.
Years ago, in a revelation, God showed me a certain lady who was depressed most of the time. Do you know where this lady was sitting in that revelation?
She was in a pit. Deep down, sitting down and downcast. Moreover, the pit was dark. Extremely dark.
Did you miss out on yesterday’s devotional, we’ve got you covered. Kindly go HERE. For KHC video Devotionals, kindly go HERE
Now the question is how will this lady even be found by any man in that position? Can you see the plans of the devil? It was thoughts of not been found that led her into depression and then the pit. Now, she is even more in a place where it is more difficult to find her. Which man will locate a lady in a dark pit?
This is how the devil plans and keeps God’s people bound! But you cannot be bound! We are not ignorant of the devices of the devil.
You’ve got to make up your mind and declare, “I refuse to be miserable. I refuse to yield to the strategies of the evil one!”
Decisions! It is a decision you must make, dear people of God.
The reason you are not joyful is not that you are not married, the reason you are not married is because you are not joyful.
Really? Do you know why? Because the joy of the Lord is your strength.
With that joy, you will procure the dividends of salvation.
You must not allow anybody or anything to steal your joy!
God bless you, have a great day.
CONFESSION FOR THE DAY I choose to be joyful all day long.
PRAYER FOR THE DAY Reject the spirit of depression.
THOUGHT FOR THE DAY Hab 3:17-18 (KJV) Although the fig tree shall not blossom, neither shall fruit be in the vines; the labour of the olive shall fail, and the fields shall yield no meat; the flock shall be cut off from the fold, and there shall be no herd in the stalls: [18] YET I WILL REJOICE IN THE LORD, I WILL JOY in the God of my salvation.
ACTION PLAN FOR THE DAY Sing, shout, jump, do anything to stay joyful.
Nothing just happens. There is always cause and effect. Coincidences are almost always divine incidents at the end of the day.
Nobody brings plucked fruit to you. You have to do your climbing and plucking. You have to do your learning.
In the school of marriage, there cannot be impersonation, you will have to write your examination all by yourself.

In terms of communication in marriage, you have to make certain decisions and stick to it. In terms of how to resolve quarrels, there has to be an established and agreed way of settling them. In times when one party is angry and hurt, there must be an agreed way of sorting them and as a couple, you must conform to whatever you agree.
There has to be these decisions.
Maintaining and sustaining joy is a decision that you have to make.
Hab 3:17-18 (KJV) Although the fig tree shall not blossom, neither shall fruit be in the vines; the labour of the olive shall fail, and the fields shall yield no meat; the flock shall be cut off from the fold, and there shall be no herd in the stalls: [18] YET I WILL REJOICE IN THE LORD, I WILL JOY in the God of my salvation.
This Scripture shows that there seems to be no productivity, but the person in question decides to keep himself joyful.
This is how we win in the kingdom. This is how we fight our battle. We don’t fight with guns or wield some weapons of war. We fight with joy! Glory to God. We fight with rejoicing. We fight by staying joyful.
As couples, stay away from endless cycle of hurts and bitterness. Stay on the side of joy and your victory will be guaranteed in Jesus name!
Good morning!

There is what is known as godly compassion. We all are familiar with the story of Moses. When Moses was born, he escaped being killed.
The daughter of Pharaoh had compassion on him and took him to the palace. Instead of being killed, Moses ended up becoming a Prince all because someone had compassion on him.
Exodus 2:6 (KJV) And when she had opened it, she saw the child: and, behold, the babe wept. And she had compassion on him, and said, This is one of the Hebrews’ children.
There is what is known as godly compassion.
You should lay hands on your children and decree favour upon them. Pray compassion into their lives, that people will have compassion on them.
Let them understand there is something called compassion.
Prayer: Lord, have compassion on my children. Amen
Action point: Study and learn more about what godly compassion means.
Declaration: My children bring me favour. They enjoy compassion from all and sundry.
Two days back in church, we had a strong move of the spirit and below is a short snippet of what went up in the Holy Ghost! Dive into it and experience a rush of joy in your spirit before continuing reading.
Did you feel lifted after watching? I bet you did! You see, you can’t allow anything or anybody or the devil to ever steal, tinker or tamper with your joy!
No wonder the Bible says the joy of the Lord is your strength!
Then he said unto them, Go your way, eat the fat, and drink the sweet, and send portions unto them for whom nothing is prepared: for this day is holy unto our Lord: neither be ye sorry; FOR THE JOY OF THE LORD IS YOUR STRENGTH.
Neh 8:10 (KJV)
That is powerful.
The topic above says your spouse is right inside your joy. The question is how is that?

Take a look at the scripture:
Therefore with joy shall ye draw water out of the wells of salvation.
Isa 12:3 (KJV)
The word for salvation in the original Hebrew means:
a) welfare, prosperity b) deliverance c) salvation (by God) d) victory
So it takes joy to draw all of these out? Including welfare! Victory in relationship and marriage! You see why everything you are looking for and trusting God for is in your joy?
Keep your joy on! Don’t let anything steal your joy! No wonder the devil seeks to attack our joy all the time! He knows that once we lose our joy, we lose a lot of things!
Decide to keep your joy intact, in all situations, at all times, all day and you will surely have the victory!
Praise be to the Lord!
CONFESSION FOR THE DAY The joy of the Lord is my strength
PRAYER FOR THE DAY Oh Lord, cause me to experience joy unspeakable
THOUGHT FOR THE DAY Isa 12:3 (KJV)Therefore with joy shall ye draw water out of the wells of salvation.
The past Sunday was awesome in God’s presence as we had an explosion of the spirit of joy in our midst. It was such a glorious time in God’s presence. The Spirit moved. We rejoiced in the Lord. Healings and deliverance took place. Thanksgiving service last Sunday was on another milieu!
Below is a sneak peek into what went up in the Holy Ghost. It will afford you to have a taste! Watch before reading….
You must keep on laughing, dancing, jumping, and shouting in the Holy Ghost. You must not allow your voice to be muted!
The devil is a joy thief! He knows that if only you and your spouse can maintain and sustain your joy, he is in trouble!
Haven’t you noticed that unnecessary quarrels often happen? Haven’t you noticed that sometimes, you can’t even place your finger on what went wrong between the two of you?
Haven’t you noticed that both of you are hurt at the same time and nobody is trying to understand the other?

That is the devil at work, my dear! He doesn’t want you joyful in any way. He wants you sad, depressed, and despondent. You have to make up your mind to be joyful.
It is a decision that you have to make!
The joy of the Lord is your strength!
Neh 8:10 (KJV)Then he said unto them, Go your way, eat the fat, and drink the sweet, and send portions unto them for whom nothing is prepared: for this day is holy unto our Lord: neither be ye sorry; FOR THE JOY OF THE LORD IS YOUR STRENGTH.
What it means is that anything aside from joy is weakness and weariness!
Decide to stay strong. Avoid strife like a plague!
Can I hear you scream “The joy of the Lord is my strength? Can I hear you say to your spouse, “The joy of the Lord is your strength?
Good morning!

One attribute we should pray for as children is the spirit of meekness. There is how to exhibit meekness as children created by God.
Meekness is strength under control. Meekness is an attribute of human nature and behavior.
With all lowliness and meekness, with longsuffering, forbearing one another in love;
Ephesians 4:2 (KJV)
It has been defined several ways: righteous, humble, teachable, and patient under suffering, long suffering willing to follow gospel teachings; an attribute of a true disciple. There is how to exhibit meekness as children created by God.
with all humility and gentleness, with patience, bearing with one another in love,
Ephesians 4:2 (ESV)
Our children should learn to be meek in their attitude towards people, also in their conduct.
The spirit of meekness can only be achieved through the help of the Holy Spirit.
It is the spirit of God that dwells in our children that help them to be teachable, and to also become true followers of Christ.
How will you know if your lover truly loves you or not?
He will love God first
This is the first acid test to know whether a man would really love you appropriately or understands what love is.
Listen to me, guys, you will never be able to love a lady the right way until you love God first.
You don’t love a woman with money alone or with fame, otherwise, the love tangos of celebrities should have been successful, but that is not always the case. The fundamental cause of marriage failure among them is that they don’t know God.
God is love and love without God is no love, it becomes lust
Is he a God-lover? If he has issues with loving God, he will have issues with loving you. True love can only be shed abroad in your heart by the Spirit of God.
It is only the God factor in a man that won’t allow him to lift up his hands against his wife in the days on anger.
Will those days come? Yes, they will come, but what will restrain a man from the tendency of beating and battering his wife is that fear of God.
So then, Pastor, how do you know a man that loves God?
a. He would want to obey God always. If you love God, you will keep His commandments. That is what Jesus said. He wouldn’t be insisting on pre-marital sex.
b. He will serve God with his time. He wouldn’t be too busy to serve God in any capacity.
c. He will serve God with his finances. He will not struggle with tithe. That is how you know a man that really loves God.
d. He will listen to his pastor or mentor. If a man loves God, he wouldn’t have problems with the servants of God.

e. He doesn’t joke with his devotional life. He knows that is the source of his strength in God.
f. He will not manipulate your emotions or try to use you. The fear of God in him would not allow all that.
g. He will not be “okay” with habitual sins. He will be uncomfortable with offending God in anyway.
h. He will not be able to accommodate strife for too long. He will be forgiving and will not be comfortable quarreling for extended number of days without feeling bad about that attitude.
I can go on and on but those are just a few.
At the background of all these, however is the fact that nobody is perfect, and nobody will have it all. You will never be able to see a man that has it all. We are all “works of project” in the making.
So there may be mistakes here and there, but you will see signs of genuine repentance and willingness to make adjustments.
At the height of all these, do you have peace? If you have peace, then go ahead, irrespective of some imperfections. When I say, imperfections, I don’t mean consistent habitual sins!
CONFESSION FOR THE DAY I am led by the Spirit of God
PRAYER FOR THE DAY Lord, teach me in the way to go and guide my feet into your plans
THOUGHT FOR THE DAY “No one who abides in Him [ who lives and remains in communion with and in obedience to Him—deliberately, knowingly, and habitually ] commits (practices) sin. No one who [ habitually ] sins has either seen or known Him [ recognized, perceived, or understood Him, or has had an experiential acquaintance with Him ].” (1Jn 3:6, AMP)
