Sade has been abused since she was young. Almost everybody who met her wanted to abuse her. From her cousins to her Uncles, and then to the gateman. From fellow schoolmates to friends and neighbors, it has been the same story. It is as though she has a magnetic entity in her body that draws people filled with lust.
She got born again and the story did not change. She is completely frustrated and did not what to do. At the root of it all, she discovered she has grown to a point where she actually entertained herself with abusive thoughts. She looked forward to being abused unconsciously and she would often position herself in such scenarios by following guys she barely know to their homes for sex romps
She is completely frustrated. She has prayed, read her Bible, and fasted, yet the problem persisted.
Well, the main issue about Sade’s problem is that she has an addiction; and it is called sex addiction. She thought she was just being an emotional person. But she is wrong.
It is even possible she has not yet slept with anybody, aside from all the touch and kisses, and yet be sex addicted. This is because not all sex addicts need to have sex to feed their addiction, they only need to fantasize.
Such people can have sexual pleasure by just viewing pornography, by thinking about a certain person that has been tattooed into their brain, by a certain object or image they have photographed into their brain.
The brain has then attached sexual pleasure to these persons, objects, or fantasies such that all they need is a thought away. And of course, because this is dominant in the brain, anytime an opportunity presents itself to express these carnal thoughts, they simply give in. This is why such people often say they cannot say No.
Such people will certainly need a form of therapy in addition to the renewal of mind exercises that is persistent to become free. I will write more on this in the ensuing days.

Andy and Sandy were so much in love in their courtship days. They were the quintessential campus love birds. Their love was palpable. Their eyes shone in ecstasy at the thoughts of each other. Barely can thirty minutes go without getting in touch for one thing or another. They looked forward to the wedding and they knew it was going to be so blissful.
The wedding happened and life began to happen. Differences emanated from nowhere and screamed at their love story. A love story filled with laughter and flowers, with dimples without pimples, soon became a love song punctuated with moods, cries, and tales of regrets.
What really happened?
They both brought their invisible baggages into the marriage. Baggages collide with luggages. These baggages were filled with junks and emotional dirts accumulated over the years growing up from abuses, negative words spoken, attacks and misconceptions that have been fed to them.
After the wedding, emotional baggages, sexual baggages, physical baggages and even spiritual baggages are brought to the table.
They now begin to deal with these, and sometimes for years, some of the contents of the baggages have not been revealed. Howbeit, the consequences of the baggages contents begin to take a toll on the couple, opened or closed.
Every anomaly and inconsistent behavior in marriage is drawing strength from that bag.
It is for this reason Jesus made one of the most powerful statements ever.
Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.

Instead of carrying the bags around and messing up relationships, go to Jesus and let Him give you rest.

Children are a blessing. The more children you have, the more blessed you are (little wonder the bible says happy is man who has his quiver full of them).
There is a Scripture I will show you now; one that we need to rejoice and be glad about. In that scripture, God was decreeing and declaring that apart from being a blessing, our children are gifts from Him. Take a look at that Scripture:
Children are a blessing and a gift from the LORD.

How would you treat a gift you received from someone you esteem? That is exactly how children ought to be treated.
You and I know God never gives bad gifts. His gifts to us are beautiful and special because of His steadfast love for us.
Our children are a special gift to us, so as parents, we are blessed because of the presence of these little ones in our lives.

You don’t need a diviner or a herbalist of a soothsayer to know the man that is just playing you and will not marry you. All the tell-tale signs are loud and visible. The actions and inactions, the disenfranchisement and the distance, the unaccountability and the subtle rebellion are all the signs that should not be ignored in any way.
Here is an indication that He will not marry you.
Little or No Communication
The guy who will not marry you is likely to starve your of communication. If there are two love birds, one way you will know them is that they are into themselves and they talk a lot. They will stay in touch through WhatsApp, Facebook, and other social media. There will likely be more than one call in a day.
The person you love and who really loves you wants to talk to you all the time. I guess it’s just simply natural. The moment he starts forming busy, and he is unwilling to pick your calls, then you should know something is deeply wrong there.
He has been outside the country for some months and there has not been communication. Well, you can simply assume the relationship is over. Communication is the oil that runs the engine of a love affair.
On the other hand, when the communication is little and toxic all the time, it’s a tell tale sign as well that something is not right.
He hardly calls and when he calls, it’s to weigh you down, maim and lacerate, leaving deep gaping wounds in the soul. It’s a sure sign that the love affair is sick.
Pro 12:18 (MSG) Rash language cuts and maims, but there is healing in the words of the wise.
Do not forcefully hold to an abusive relationship because it only ends with stories that touch the heart!

God said nothing will be impossible for them because of the oneness in their speech and language. God knew what to do to stop their ambition. He tampered with their speech.
Come, we’ll go down and garble their speech so they won’t understand each other.” Then GOD scattered them from there all over the world. And they had to quit building the city.

The resultant effect of their garbled speech is that they could no longer understand themselves, then a scattering and then they quit building.
This is quite instructive and interesting.
O yes, in marriage, there will be little quarrels and disagreement here and there. You know what? Keep on talking. Papa Kenneth Hagin said learn to disagree without being disagreeable!
Do not allow strife in your marriage. When you stop talking as a result of hurt, your speech has been garbled and you will soon be unable to build anything. Now, this is the plan of the devil. He wants you scattered. He doesn’t want you to build anything. He doesn’t want you to do anything meaningful together. Ensure you don’t cooperate with him anyway.
Keep on talking. Don’t hurt too deep. Be a quick forgiver. Laugh a lot. Enjoy yourself as couples and do not allow anybody to pour “stones” into your “Garri!

As godly parents, one of your priority should be how to disciplined children. You must remember that you will give account to God over them.
Don’t hesitate to discipline children. A good spanking won’t kill them. As a matter of fact, it may save their lives.

Discipline is good. The bible encourages it. Disciplined children are a blessing because those are the children that are well developed and balanced in society. The society is filled with undisciplined children, you don’t want your children to be a part of the statistics.
Love corrects. If you truly love your children, then you must learn to correct them. If you want them to turn out well, then like the bible says, a good spanking won’t kill them. Love does not overlook wrongdoing.
We have to teach and train our children (raising them up as disciplined children), and the Lord will help us in Jesus name.

September To Remember – Day 7
As I participate in this fast, I see the help of God. My head is lifted. In areas where my head has been bowed in shame, God is lifting it up. By the mercies of God, I speak increase, prosperity, advancement, productivity into my life, family and business.
I receive the help needed to birth my glorious destiny. I declare; I am marvelously helped by God. God cannot leave me stranded. I receive angelic intervention. I receive the gift of men, sent to help me in Jesus name.

There is hardly any strong person. We only have helped people. My discourse with you this morning is a prophetic declaration that you will be marvelously helped in your relationship in Jesus name.
Oratory power is cool. Intellectual prowess is admired but is not always a magic wand when it comes to the problems of life. There are issues that defy the best of the intellectuals. There are puzzles and enigmas of life that are beyond the parameters of cognitive abilities.
At the end of the day, ensure you are helped of God. Your innate abilities, your gifting, your intelligence then begin to make meaning when God helps you indeed.
This morning, I prophesy into your relationship, you are helped of God in Jesus name!
And he made in Jerusalem engines, invented by cunning men, to be on the towers and upon the bulwarks, to shoot arrows and great stones withal. And his name spread far abroad; for he was marvellously helped, till he was strong.

The guy above is sharp and intelligent. He is creative and productive. He had inventors working for him. But the last phrase amazes me. He was marvelously helped till HE WAS STRONG!
So, with all his achievements and productive energy for inventions, he was weak. He only became strong when he was marvelously helped.
May God help you by sending the right people your way. May you have your engines located on the towers and upon the bulwarks, to shoot arrows and great stones that will devastate every marital enemy in Jesus name.

THOUGHT FOR THE DAY 2 Chron 26:15 (ERV)In Jerusalem, Uzziah made machines that were invented by clever men. These machines were put on the towers and corner walls. They shot arrows and large rocks. Uzziah became famous. People knew his name in far away places. He had much help and became a powerful king.
The race is never to the swift. The battle is not to the strong. We are only helped of God.
This is not to disregard the significance of labour, for there is dignity in labour. However, and at the end of the day, the realization sinks, that it is all by the help of God.
Let’s take a look at the scripture this morning.
He also installed the latest in military technology on the towers and corners of Jerusalem for shooting arrows and hurling stones. He became well known for all this—a famous king. Everything seemed to go his way. But then the strength and success went to his head. Arrogant and proud, he fell. One day, contemptuous of GOD, he walked into The Temple of GOD like he owned it and took over, burning incense on the Incense Altar.

This man was marvelously helped. He had everything going his way. But then, he became proud, and the strength and success went to his head. He took God for granted and wanted to perform roles meant only for priests.
The result was a disenfranchisement that isolated him.
They confronted Uzziah: “You must not, you cannot do this, Uzziah—only the Aaronite priests, especially consecrated for the work, are permitted to burn incense. Get out of God’s Temple; you are unfaithful and a disgrace!” But Uzziah, censer in hand, was already in the middle of doing it and angrily rebuffed the priests. He lost his temper; angry words were exchanged—and then, even as they quarreled, a skin disease appeared on his forehead.

The disease never left him.
Uzziah had his skin disease for the rest of his life and had to live in quarantine; he was not permitted to set foot in The Temple of GOD. His son Jotham, who managed the royal palace, took over the government of the country.

The lesson here? Do not open the door for pride in your life. Do not make the mistake of going into extramarital relationships because you now have some money and some success in your business. Such steps only end in tears.
Stay humble, Stay close to God. Stay faithful to your spouse.

Who is your friend? That is one question that you must ask and answer if you desire to become the best of who you are meant to be.
Julius had a problem. He needed a solution. This issue had been eating deep into him. He just couldn’t wrap his head around it. He began to emaciate as a result of excessive thinking. He wasn’t looking like the Julius everyone knew. His parents wondered what could be wrong with their once lively lad.
He knew he had to find a solution to whatever was wrong with him. Just like a flash, he remembered his one time buddy and friend, Samson. Who is your friend? Who do you call friend? Samson was not really born again, that was why he cut ties with him initially, but now, he needed his help desperately.
Oh, why didn’t I think about him before now? He asked himself.
Off, he dashed to Samson’s house and discussed with him. In the end, Samson had a good time laughing at his long time friend who was looking worried over a “simple” matter.
Samson told him what to do. Even though he knew it was wrong, he went ahead, as he needed a solution badly. Who is your friend?
This was what happened to Amnon, David’s son. What was heavy in his heart, became a small matter in the eyes of his friend because his friend had a devilish mind.
As a matter of fact, Bible says his friend was a subtle, shrewd and crafty person.
Amnon had a friend named Jonadab, who was the son of David’s brother Shimeah. Jonadab always knew how to get what he wanted,

Jonadab put Amnon in trouble, just like Samson did to Julius in the story above.

Who are those you call friends? Are they really worth it? Are they after your wellbeing or your downfall?
Talk to your parents. Let them help you identify who your friends really are.

Miracles Everywhere was taught by Rev. Dunamis Okunowo on the 5th of September 2021 at Shouts of Grace Center, Joke Plaza, Beside Trans Amusement Park, Bodija-UI Road, Ibadan.
In his teaching, Rev. Dunamis made mention of the following important points:
If it is not miraculous, then it is not God.
God’s miraculous power is not abstract, it is tangible… it is forceful.
All you need to change your entire world is one word from God. One word from God will cause miracles to flow in your direction.
Discomfort is sometimes a sign that you are carrying something – dreams, aspirations, etc.
When you are pregnant, you don’t eat everything, because there’s greatness on the inside of you. And you don’t have to explain to anybody why you do what you don’t, because they won’t understand (since you are the one carrying the pregnancy, not them.)
You cannot do everything that people do. Because you are carrying something, you have to be super-careful.
You can’t understand everything. You may not understand how God will do it, but trust Him to do it. Do not use words to negotiate yourself out of greatness, just because you can’t see the resources. Just trust God.
Whatever you don’t celebrate, you can’t attract. Anything you attack cannot be in your life.
Those things you can’t see is what God wants to do. Therefore don’t give up on God.

September To Remember – Day 6
I am not forgotten. I am not abandoned. I am coming out stronger and better. With an outstretched arm, God is bringing my deliverance. I am delivered from all forms of bondage in my life, family, relationship, marriage, career, and finance. As I go out today, God is teaching me to profit.
I am led by the way. I will not make a mistake. I know where to go. I know what to do in Jesus name. God is teaching me to profit today. There shall be no loss.

A perpetually irritating friend or ally is always somewhat a nuisance. There are some naughty relationships like that. They just keep provoking you and testing your patience till you want out. After you have been grieved severally and you are brought into a place where it looks like there will be no change, you probably want to quit.
If this is done to you, you sure don’t want to stay too long among such people. There is a way you naturally move away from where you are being afflicted to where you will be celebrated. Nobody wants his or her head beaten all the time and that without cause. You, being on the receiving end, are not usually having a pleasant time.
What if I say that is what we often do to God? Take a look at this scripture:
How oft did they provoke him in the wilderness, and grieve him in the desert! Yea, they turned back and tempted God, and limited the Holy One of Israel. They remembered not his hand, nor the day when he delivered them from the enemy.

Provoking God with acts of compromise in your relationship, grieving Him with repeated wrong acts in a deliberate fashion translates to turning back and tempting God, thereby limiting Him.
His desire is to bless and increase us. His desire is that the marriage institution He established becomes a reality in our lives. God is never the one bringing delay into your life, it is we that often keep tempting and limiting the Holy One of God.
The Message Translation puts it this way:
How often in the desert they had spurned him, tried his patience in those wilderness years. Time and again they pushed him to the limit, provoked Israel’s Holy God. How quickly they forgot what he’d done, forgot their day of rescue from the enemy,

My advice this morning: Quit limiting God to do what He wants to do through your disobedience and repeated errors. Stop pushing Him to the limit with habitual sinful tendencies.
Allow Him to be God in your life.

This Is What Happens To Couples Who Don’t Cooperate
The home was hot, and yet it was really cold outside. Sad miens, sadistic motions, palpitating hearts resulting from acute bitterness serenaded the house. Music has disappeared from their hearts and in its place is a dirge composing itself.
Mr. and Mrs. Jebolade are at it again. The usual bickering have ensued. This will lead to unending quarrels, exchange of bitter words, reclusion into their shells, and eventually strife and animosity that will last for days.
Both of them would feel they were right and would insist on their rights. As they continue in this cat and mouse tantrums, they are actually losing a lot in their marriage without knowing. They are limiting God from blessing them in fullness.
The scriptures says
Psa 78:40-42 (KJV) How oft did they provoke him in the wilderness, and grieve him in the desert! Yea, they turned back and tempted God, and limited the Holy One of Israel. They remembered not his hand, nor the day when he delivered them from the enemy.
Continually provoking God, grieving Him with your refusal to forgive each other is like tempting God and limiting Him from blessing you.
Discarding the marital vows you said and recited on your wedding day because of some disagreement or differences is tempting God and limiting Him in your marriage.
In marriage, it takes your agreement from both sides for anything to work. The devil knows this, so he tampers with your agreement, just to stop the flow of the blessing. You have to be wise, therefore, to ensure that the devil is kept at bay in your marriage.
It’s something deliberate that both of you have to do. You work at your marriage and trust God for the best by simply cooperating with each other. Full cooperation with each other!

THOUGHT FOR THE DAY Ps 78:41 (ERV)Again and again they tested his patience. They really hurt the Holy One of Israel.
I want to bring to our remembrance something really important this morning. Dear child, you are a special gift! Yes, you! You really are.
It is something we know, but we sometimes allow the devil fill our minds with negative and false thoughts. This was exactly what happened to Jude.
Jude was always moody. He was always downcast and sad. He just couldn’t fathom certain things going on around him.
One thing that kept coming to his mind was that his parents loves his siblings more than they love him. He didn’t see himself as a special gift.
He fought this thought for weeks until his Sunday school teacher read this verse in church yesterday.
Gen 4:1 (KJV)And Adam knew Eve his wife; and she conceived, and bare Cain, and said, I have gotten a man from the Lord.
Dear children, this is how I want you to see yourselves henceforth. You are a special gift from God to your parents.
You are not a mistake. You are not ordinary. You came at the very right time God wanted you to come.
We all know God gives good gifts. That means you are a good gift to your parents, not just an ordinary gift.
Every good and perfect gift comes down from the Father who created all the lights in the heavens. He is always the same and never makes dark shadows by changing.
James 1:17 (CEV)
Don’t conclude your life because of your present situation. You are a special gift.
Look on the bright side. You are perfect because God made you so.
Parents, let’s do well to encourage our children, assuring them of God’s love.
Prayer: Lord, thank you because I see myself the same way you see me. Amen
Action point: Tell yourself you are a special gift to your parents.
Declaration: I am a gift to my parents and to this generation.
