Will one ever get to a place in life where doubt is completely extricated and will never occur again?” Like take a gun and shoot doubt forever and ever?
Well, the answer is a big NO. Doubt will still come, whether you like it or not. But it is now your choice to discard it or embrace it.
How do we deal with doubt and how can it be prevented?
1. The first thing to note is that you should never take a step until you are sure of God’s plan! That way, you are rock solid when doubt surfaces because you already know what you are doing. Let doubts come from a thousand ends, you remain steadfast because you already heard God and His word that you heard would stabilize you and become an anchor to your soul.
2. Don’t fall in love anyhow. Fall in love with common sense and with your eyes open.
3. Do not despise the wisdom of authority figures in your life. They may not be right all the time, but God can often use their voice to speak to you and keep you from making costly mistakes.
4. Read God’s word regularly. That is what will stabilize your soul. Pray as well and speak in tongues a lot.
What do you do if you are already in doubt?
1. Take time to go back to God in prayers and listen to Him talk to you again.
2. Fast if necessary and spend time in God’s presence until you hear Him
3. Clean up your life from all forms of sexual compromises. Jeru trip and other sexual sins will usually bring confusion and with confusion, there will be huge kettles of doubt in your mind.
4. If you are married and doubt keeps coming, the solution is not to walk out of your marriage. Rather, stay with your spouse and refuse to entertain doubts. Go to God in prayers and renew your covenant with God. See doubt as an attempt from the devil to render your prayers ineffective, so guard against it.
Lastly, how can one be sure that a decision is of God?
The acid test is what is called “peace”
Take a look at this scripture:
And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.
(Philippians 4:7 KJV)
Amplified Version:
“And God’s peace [ shall be yours, that tranquil state of a soul assured of its salvation through Christ, and so fearing nothing from God and being content with its earthly lot of whatever sort that is, that peace ] which transcends all understanding shall garrison and mount guard over your hearts and minds in Christ Jesus.”
(Php 4:7, AMP)
Did you see that? This peace that comes as an assurance of God’s voice concerning a decision will become like an army officer to your soul, It will mount guard and disallow any doubt from accessing your mind. Glory to God!
My prayer for you this morning is that you will indeed hear God. I speak against every confusion in your life, no more in Jesus name! I come against every plan of the devil, every intent of hell, every strategy of the evil one, no more in your life in Jesus name!
I speak peace to every storm in relationships, and I pray for God’s divine intervention in Jesus name!

One of your roles as a wife is to take care of your husband. In some parts of the country, young ladies preparing for marriage are often taught some of these skills. Others watch their mothers or older women as they perform this all important role of taking care of their husbands.
You can become a wife a moment you sign the wedding register. It takes a minute to earn the title of ‘Mrs’, the moment you sign the dotted line and say ‘I do’. But to function as a wife requires knowledge and skills.
This skill of taking care of one’s husband is fast becoming obsolete. Wives, no longer see it as a priority and responsibility. Our present society is not helping matters. Husbands are left in the hands of maids to take care of while the wives go on in pursuit of their careers.
Some wives don’t know how to take care of their husbands. Meanwhile, taking care of your husband is the key to marital bliss. When you treat your husband like a king, he reciprocates back treating you like his queen. It is honor to take good care of your husband and there are blessings attached to it.

You take care of your husband in the following ways:
1. Cook him variety of dishes I know most wives are working class women who probably have maids. You can supervise what the maid cooks for him.
2. Serve his food Some wives are not even there to see to what their husband is eating. There is a lot of power in food. And she who feeds your husband is important.
3. Serve him in any and every aspect he requires Be there to assist your husband. Treat him as a king, there are some things you don’t just allow your husband do. Not because he is handicapped, but because you want to show him honor
4. Be involved in what he does Part of being an help meet is showing interest in whatever your husband does. Be it business, career etc. Ask questions about what you don’t know.
5. Be his friend and emotional ally There is nothing a man needs more than a friend. Someone to gist with. Be that friend
6. Meet his sexual needs Jeru trip for your husband is very important. Don’t leave that aspect of your duty unattended to. Satisfy his needs as often as he requires it. Your role is not complete until this aspect is fulfilled.
7. Pray for your husband When you pray for him him you engage the power of divinity to step in, in areas where your humanity can’t reach. You can pray for his protection, provision and whatever he may be dealing with.
If wives can try and fulfill all these, there will be less quarrel in homes and marriages.

Oil For Today – Day 110
The counsel of God over my life will come to pass. The plans of God over my relationship/marriage will not be thwarted. God is bringing all his promises to pass in my life. Every word of prophecy spoken over me is coming to light. That which God has spoken, I hold on to it. I will see the desires of my heart. I will see the travails of my heart. My hands will touch it. God is bringing what is in my heart and putting it in my hands. The glorious future God has for me, I will experience in Jesus name.
It happens all the time. You fall in love, you make commitments, in some cases, wedding plans begin, and then like a mighty tornado from nowhere, doubt hits you like you hit someone with a sledge hammer.
I thought I was in love! Where is this doubt coming from? O Lord, help me!
It even gets more confusing when compromise or specifically, sex is involved. You hardly know what to do. On one hand, you think you love him or her, but when you think about your future together, a lump rises in your throat and a subtle fear meanders in the inner crevices of your mind.
What do you do at such times? This is what we want to look at this morning.
At what points do doubts occur? Here are some:
1. A relationship is outside of God’s will and God needed to get your attention.
2. A relationship is actually God’s will, but the devil wants to confuse you so that you can step out of that will.
3. You have huge and sometimes unrealistic expectations and unfortunately the expectations are far from being realised.
4. You are in a relationship and it is God’s plan for you, but somewhere along the line, you are caught in sex. The devil would usually bring guilt trips and if you stay habitually in the compromise, confusion will enter the soul and you won’t know your left from right.
5. You are not informed and you are ignorant of your basic spiritual rights, you will easily get confused and yield to doubt.
6. You start a relationship or courtship without seeking God’s will. That conviction would not be there and doubts would have an upper hand.
7. You sought direction about your marriage from some prophet without a personal adventure in seeking God’s face.
8. You go into a relationship or marriage in order to escape from something. After your escape,then you start asking whether you really love the person.
9. All your mentors, pastor, and even parents are against the marriage except you. Doubt will surely come eventually.
10. Marriage is not all about roses and flowers, when the thorns show up, they usually come in the basket of doubt.
The next thing is “will one ever get to a place in life where doubt is completely extricated and will never occur again?” Like take a gun and shoot doubt for ever and ever?

Sometimes, husbands want to please or do things that their wives enjoy. They experience frustration in trying to make them happy, especially since their wives are emotional beings.
One moment they are happy, the other moment they are not so happy. Since their emotions are not stable, it becomes difficult for the husbands to know how to meet them at their point of need.
I think there are three areas or ways that any time, a woman will always find enjoyable. A man has to be patient with his wife. An impatient husband will always be seen as a not too caring husband.
If every husband can do these three things there will always be smiles and peace in the marriage.
1. Be Understanding 2. Be tender 3. Buy her things.
1. Be understanding The man is the head and so makes a lot of decisions. A woman does certain things and may not think of the consequences, maybe because she is emotional. The logic of the husband usually corrects all these.
But in correcting, he should try and not be hard. He will be tempted to be hard and harsh in correcting her. But if you don’t yield to temptation it will be good.
There is always gratefulness that every wife expresses to an understanding husband.
It is understanding that makes a husband not flare up and get angry at every provocation. It is understanding that makes a husband read in between the lines and put himself in her shoes.

2. Be tender Most men are by nature wired to be leaders and could be hard. But for the sake of peace in the home may choose to lead lovingly.
The password of any woman is always being tender to her. The woman does not need the tenderness of any other man but that of her own husband.
The husband must know that he has a responsibility to always meet this need of being tender. Your wife enjoys this more than giving her a million dollars.
3. Buy her gifts There is a chord inside every woman that buying gifts touches. Ladies are known to like anything shiny. A woman can never have enough gifts, there is always room for more.
The gift doesn’t have to be big or expensive. It is the gesture of being remembered and spending money to buy her stuff that matters.
The gifts should be consistent, not once in a while. Some husbands think when they buy her gifts often, she takes them for granted. Not true at all.
How often do you want your wife happy? If your answer is often, then buy her gifts often. Gifts mean taking her out sometimes. Spending time with her and just taking care of her.
Spend your money on her. Don’t be afraid to spend on your wife, God will provide. It is said that when you want to spoil your wife, God will always provide the money.
First, let it be in your heart to do and God will put it in your hands.

Praying for the unsaved is the instruction of God to everyone of His child. Who are the unsaved? There are people who don’t know about Jesus. They could be around you or not. These are the people you should remember constantly in your prayers.
Pray that the Holy Spirit will help them to accept Christ into their lives. They could have heard about Christ and still be unwilling to accept Him. It’s only the Holy Spirit that can convince them of who Jesus is and make them yield to Him. Pray also, for those who have never heard of Christ before. Pray that they will have an encounter with someone who would tell them about Jesus. Remember that praying for the unsaved is your duty.
God loves it when we pray for people to know Christ because He wants everyone to enjoy the benefits of having Christ in their lives.

Today, God goes before me. I have the leading of the holy spirit. All crooked places are made straight for me. I have direction and light to walk in God’s plan for me today. God is breaking and shattering the gates of brass in my marriage, relationship, health, and finances. I receive deliverance today. Glory to God. Now, even now, the shackles and bars of Iron are cut in sunder. No more will I be held back in Jesus’ name. Amen.
According to Wikipedia, A player who has been cautioned (with yellow card) may continue playing in the game; however, a player who receives a second caution in a match is sent off (shown the yellow card again, and then a red card), meaning that he must leave the field immediately and take no further part in the game.
Case 1 You are in a relationship but your lover is not interested in the things of God like before, realizes this and is trying to work on it.
As a counselor or referee, I will surely bring out a card and it will be: YELLOW!
He or she can continue in the relationship because of the willingness to work on it and consciously do something about it.
Case 2 Your lover is not interested in the things of God like before, but is open to counsels and is really seeking mentoring.
It will surely be a yellow card – a warning because he or she is open to correction.
Case 3 Your lover is not interested in the things of God but thinks he is okay and is not open to any advice. The card is: RED! It is dangerous to give your heart to such a person, because he or she already showed you who he is.
It is fool-hardy to continue in a relationship with such a person.
Case 4 You have caught him lying on you once. The card will be: YELLOW!
There is a possibility it’s a mistake. But time will tell.
Case 5 You have caught him or her lying and cheating on you severally. Nothing other than: RED! He or she is not likely to change soon. Walk out of such relationship and then do a thanksgiving!

The opposite will always attract in marriage. You fell in love with your spouse because he/she is different from you. This is so not to encourage disagreement but to bring a different viewpoint into your covenant relationship.
Your love should move from being emotional to being intentional. This is where commitment, maturity, and understanding come to play.
You don’t do marriage because of feelings, you do because of commitment and respect to God who instituted marriage
Emotional love is when you have butterflies in your belly. When your spouse is so nice, loving, caring and he/she is just dope. No faults. No flaws. Everything is just right about them.
But you move to a point of maturity when even though you don’t feel loving towards your spouse because of what they have done or what they have not done, you are intentional and committed to doing those things that keep the love alive.
You don’t kill the embers of the fire of love. You keep on servicing love. Serving and maintenance is an important part of anything we hold dear and anything of value to us that we use.
We maintain our cars, clean up and repair things in our houses so also we should be ready to service our marriage.
Just because things are broken in your car or house doesn’t mean you throw them away. You are committed to spending your money and time fixing whatever needs to be fixed.

The Light that Scripture is talking about is light on the inside, not an external light. You need light inside you, not torch light!

As the head of the house, you are meant to have more light. As a husband, God expects you to provide vision for your family!
Every problem you encounter (every issue you have) is as a result of a lack of light. And until you see light, everything remains the same. Things fail due to a lack of light.
God’s word is not dependent on what is going on in the society; God’s word is self-existent!
Never allow yourself to get accustomed to darkness! Switch on your light!
When there’s light on your inside, your speech will change.
To the law and to the testimony: if they speak not according to this word, [it is] because [there is] no light in them.

Your words are dependent on the amount of light you have on the inside. Words are spirits.

Jesus is the light.
Jesus once again addressed them: “I am the world’s Light. No one who follows me stumbles around in the darkness. I provide plenty of light to live in.”

You have no excuse not to walk in light; Jesus says, “I provide plenty of light.” You must therefore work at the manifestation of you being the light in life.
He that has the light is the one in control.
It is your light that will announce you.

2. Men usually prefer darkness until they meet Jesus.
And this is the condemnation, that the light has come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil.

3. Make up your mind to go for light, because that’s where your victory is.
No matter how intense the darkness is, it will get shattered once light comes
No matter how far into darkness you’ve gone, all you need is an encounter with light.
Then Saul, still breathing threats and murder against the disciples of the Lord, went to the high priest and asked letters from him to the synagogues of Damascus, so that if he found any who were of the Way, whether men or women, he might bring them bound to Jerusalem. As he journeyed he came near Damascus, and suddenly a light shone around him from heaven.

All you need is light – in your business, marriage, career, etc. You must seek the manifestation of you being the light in life.

4. Pray that the ‘anointing for multiplication’ rests on you.
5. Put your hands on your belly and begin to speak fruitfulness.
6. Pray for your local assembly; that just like the waters cover the sea, she will cover every land that God has given to her.
7. Command the devil to get his hands/influence off your business.
8. Begin to tear every veil that is covering and hindering your visibility to men.
9. Go ahead and make your personal requests for the day known to the Lord.
10. Begin to thank the Lord for answered prayers.
Confession For Today
Oil For Today – Day 108
I am blessed beyond measure. I have the blessing of the most high. I am fruitful. There is no barrenness in me. According to the word of the Lord, I increase and multiply. I enlarge my coast. I subdue nations. My relationship/marriage is restored to what it was created to be. I declare all round fruitfulness over me and mine. So shall it be, in Jesus name, amen.
This morning, I want to challenge us as we begin a new week to not allow the devil to negotiate you out of the best that God has for you!

And God blessed them, saying, Be fruitful, and multiply, and fill the waters in the seas, and let fowl multiply in the earth.
Gen 1:22 (KJV)
These were the first words of God to humanity! You can’t allow any nonsense from the devil! Don’t allow him to negotiate with you and come up with all kinds of excuses why your relationship is not working, why nobody is coming your way, why there is an unnecessary delay, and so on and so forth!
Why is the scripture above so important!
This was God’s instructions from the beginning!
That which was from the beginning, which we have heard, which we have seen with our eyes, which we have looked upon, and our hands have handled, of the Word of life;
1Jn 1:1 (KJV)
Go back to what God said in the beginning and hold on to that! All other suggestions, instructions, manipulations, adaptations, conclusions, and deductions are inferior to the very first words that proceeded from God!
If your relationship is not fruitful, then something has been tampered with and you cannot settle for it!
It is either fruitfulness or fruitfulness!
And the verse above listed the process involved; hear it, see it, look upon it and let your hands handle it!
This week, I am praying for you, whatever it is that stares you in the face, be it your business, relationship, carrier, ministry, or whatever it is, I declare fruitfulness in Jesus name!
That will be your portion this week in Jesus name! Have a great and fulfilling week!

PRAYER FOR THE DAY Oh Lord, take my relationship to how you intended it in the beginning
THOUGHT FOR THE DAY 1 John 1:1[ESV] That which was from the beginning, which we have heard, which we have seen with our eyes, which we looked upon and have touched with our hands, concerning the word of life
Marriage is beautiful, but it can quickly be obscured by the challenges and pressures that come with it. Its intended purpose can quickly fizzle out if care is not taken. My discourse with couples this morning is taken from the below short video. Watch it quickly before we proceed.
The devil is a bad devil. He seeks to distract, and obscure the reality of what God intended!
Your marital experience should be nothing short of fruitfulness. Fruit of the womb, fruit of the land, fruit from your substance and so on and so forth!
Here is what God said:
And God blessed them, saying, Be fruitful, and multiply, and fill the waters in the seas, and let fowl multiply in the earth.

Hold on to that word in your marriage. Say those words to your spouse every time! Look at your wife in the morning and declare over her; “Be Fruitful!” Move over to your husband and romantically whisper into his ears; “Be Fruitful!”
No negotiation!
Why? Because that was what was in the beginning!
I am not interested in what happened in the middle or what is happening now! I am interested in what was in the beginning!

This is what marriage is. Marriage is fruitfulness and there is no negotiation!
