Finding Love Through Prayer
As singles and couples, many of us long for a deep, meaningful connection with a life partner. We may try to create this through our own efforts, strategies, and carefully planned timelines, yet often those attempts leave us feeling weary, disappointed, or uncertain. The truth is, love is not something we can fully control or manufacture. God’s Word reminds us that He is the ultimate author of our stories, and when we place our trust in Him, we discover peace and assurance that His plan is always good.
Scripture gives us this promise:
“For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.” (Jeremiah 29:11).
These words reassure us that God sees the bigger picture. While we may feel anxious about whether we will ever meet “the one,” God is never rushed or late. His timing is perfect, and His ways are far beyond our understanding.
Instead of focusing on what we lack, this season of waiting can be an invitation to deepen our relationship with Him. When we draw near to God, we are transformed into the people He created us to be—whole, confident, and ready to love in a Christ-centered way. Trusting God does not mean passivity, but rather an active surrender: choosing to walk in faith while preparing our hearts for His blessings.
Jesus Himself encourages us
“Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you.” Matthew 7:7
When it comes to relationships, prayer is not only about asking for a partner but also about aligning our hearts with God’s will.
Through prayer, we can:
– Seek God’s guidance and wisdom to recognize the right person when they come into our lives.
– Ask for protection from unhealthy or harmful relationships that may distract us from His plan.
– Pray for patience, resisting the temptation to rush ahead of God’s timing.
– Request clarity on our values, priorities, and non-negotiables so that we pursue relationships grounded in faith.
When we consistently bring our desires before the Lord, we open ourselves to His peace. Even if His answer looks different from our expectations, we can be assured that His will leads to lasting joy. Love found through prayer is not built on fleeting emotions but on the steady foundation of God’s promises.
For those who are already married, prayer continues to be a vital lifeline. It strengthens the bond between husband and wife by inviting God to be at the center of the relationship. Couples can pray together for unity, wisdom in decision-making, and grace to forgive and love each other as Christ loves the church.
Prayer also helps guard the marriage against division and selfishness, replacing them with compassion, patience, and understanding. By seeking God together, spouses grow not only closer to Him but also closer to each other, building a partnership rooted in faith and sustained by His Spirit.
As we journey through seasons of waiting or seasons of commitment, may we remain hopeful and faithful, trusting that the One who holds our future also knows the deepest desires of our hearts.

When Love Feels Dry: Choosing Commitment Over Emotion
Let’s be honest—love doesn’t always feel like “butterflies in your belly”. There are days in marriage when your spouse gets on your last nerve. There are seasons in dating when the person you thought was perfect suddenly looks very human.
Feelings are wonderful, but they are not stable. They rise and fall like waves. If you build a relationship only on how you feel, you will walk away the moment emotions dry up.
That’s why love is more than a feeling—it’s a decision. Real love chooses. It chooses to stay when the spark is faint. It chooses to forgive when hurt creeps in. It chooses to serve when selfishness feels easier.
Singles, don’t just look for someone who excites you today. Look for someone who can choose you tomorrow, even when you’re not easy to love. Ask yourself: Does this person have the strength of commitment? Do they know how to stand when life tests love?
Married couples, remember this: passion is beautiful, but partnership keeps you. Don’t wait for feelings to lead before you act in love. Don’t wait to feel like before you submit. Speak kindly even when you’re frustrated. Do the small things—help with chores, listen without interrupting, pray together. Those are choices that even reignite the feelings.
Commitment is what carries love through seasons. When the excitement dips, let choices lead. Because feelings follow actions, not the other way around.
A strong relationship is not one that never feels dry—it’s one that refuses to give up when it does.
P.S.: Singles, if your relationship is toxic, do well to run far from it o… lol

Don’t miss it. Spread the word!
To my future wife, whoever and wherever you are—this letter is for you. Though we may not yet know each other, I want to speak honestly about the journey ahead of us. Marriage is a sacred covenant, not just between two people but also with God (Malachi 2:14). It requires preparation, humility, and intentionality from both sides. So before our paths cross or our vows unite us, let me ask: Are you really ready for me?
1. Are You Ready to Partner in Purpose?
Marriage isn’t just about romance—it’s about partnership. Amos 3:3 asks, “Do two walk together unless they have agreed to do so?” Before we can walk side by side, we must first agree on the direction we’re heading. Are you pursuing God’s purpose for your life? Do you understand that marriage amplifies ministry, calling us to serve Him together as one? If we’re both aligned with His will, our union won’t just be a relationship—it’ll be a mission field.
2. Are You Ready to Embrace Imperfection?
Let’s get real—I’m far from perfect. Neither of us will enter this marriage without flaws, struggles, or areas where growth is needed. Ephesians 4:2 calls us to bear with one another in love, “being completely humble and gentle.” Can you embrace my imperfections while challenging me to become better? Likewise, am I willing to do the same for you? Love isn’t blind; it sees clearly yet chooses to stay committed through grace and forgiveness.
3. Are You Ready to Communicate Openly?
Healthy communication is the backbone of any strong marriage. James 1:19 reminds us to be quick to listen, slow to speak, and slow to become angry. Are you ready to share your heart vulnerably, even when it feels uncomfortable? Will you extend patience when misunderstandings arise? Honest dialogue fosters trust, intimacy, and unity—the pillars of a thriving relationship.
4. Are You Ready to Prioritize God Above All Else?
Our marriage won’t succeed if it’s built solely on feelings or convenience—it must be rooted in God. Matthew 6:33 tells us to seek first His kingdom, and everything else will fall into place. As much as I long to love and cherish you, nothing should come before my relationship with Christ—and the same must be true for you. When God is at the center, our love becomes unshakeable because it’s anchored in eternity.
5. Are You Ready to Fight Together?
Marriage isn’t always easy; there will be seasons of joy and seasons of struggle. But here’s the truth: We won’t fight against each other—we’ll fight for each other. Ecclesiastes 4:12 says, “A cord of three strands is not quickly broken.” With God binding us together, we’ll face challenges as a team. Are you prepared to stand firm, pray fervently, and never give up—even when the road gets tough?
Final Thought:
My dearest future wife, I write these words not to intimidate but to inspire. Marriage is a beautiful journey, but it demands readiness—from both of us. As you prepare your heart for this lifelong commitment, remember that love is more than a feeling; it’s a choice, a sacrifice, and a reflection of God’s unwavering devotion to us.
If you’re reading this, take courage. Whether we meet tomorrow or years from now, I trust that God is preparing you just as He’s preparing me. Let’s commit to seeking Him above all else, knowing that He will guide our steps toward each other in His perfect timing. Until then, keep growing, keep praying, and keep believing—for the best is yet to come.
With hope and anticipation,
Your future husband.

There is stability In God
There are moments in one’s life where nothing is obviously wrong, but everything feels… off. You’re not making reckless choices; you’re showing up, doing your best, and staying faithful. Yet, somehow, beneath all that, something just feels unsettled.
One day you’re steady, the next you’re overwhelmed. Yesterday you felt confident in what God told you, today you’re second-guessing everything. It’s not that you don’t have faith—it’s just that things are shifting, and you notice it.
“I have set the Lord always before me. Because He is at my right hand, I will not be shaken.” – Psalm 16:8 (NIV)
The bible didn’t necessarily promise a quick fix. What it gives us is something solid to hold onto. David didn’t say, “I won’t be shaken because everything’s going my way.” He says, “I have set the Lord always before me.” That’s a deliberate choice, not just a passing feeling. He’s saying, “God, You’re my focus. You’re at the center.”
It’s not about pretending everything’s fine. It’s about not letting God fade into the background. Where you set your attention shapes the way you see and respond to everything else.
And don’t skip the second part of the verse: “Because He is at my right hand, I will not be shaken.” That right-hand place means God is close—He’s not distant or detached. He’s right beside you, present, ready to keep you steady when life feels off-balance.
That awareness changes everything. Instead of reacting to every emotion or thought, you can pause, reset and not because you have all the answers, but because you know who’s holding your hand.
So, what can you do when life feels a little unsteady?
1. Refocus your attention.
Ask yourself honestly: “What have I been putting in front of me lately?” If it’s stress, pressure, or distractions, no wonder you feel unsteady. Look to Jesus—not just because it’s the “right thing to do,” but because it’s what truly works.
2. Slow your pace.
We put so much pressure on ourselves to fix everything—fast. But often, feeling shaky comes from moving too quickly. Whether you’re making decisions or just trying to get through the week, pause. Invite God into the space your hurry wants to fill. Clarity usually comes in the quiet, not in the rush.
3. Go back to what God already told you.
When life feels unsteady, it’s tempting to look for something new—a new word, a new sign. But revisit what God has already said. He doesn’t change His mind just because you’re having a rough week.
4. Let truth lead, not your emotions.
It’s okay to feel deeply. But you don’t have to let feelings run your decisions. Let God’s truth guide you, even when your heart feels loud or uncertain.
Let this sink in: You’re not unstable—you’re just learning to stay grounded. God isn’t far away. He’s close enough to steady you. You don’t have to answer every doubt or fear. Just stay anchored to Him. If God is before you and beside you, you can never fall apart—even if life feels a little unsteady right now.
There is stability In God

Five Qualities a Husband Cannot Resist from His Wife
Marriage is one of God’s most beautiful designs, meant to reflect the love and unity between Christ and His Church (Ephesians 5:25-33). While every relationship has its unique dynamics, there are certain qualities a husband cannot resist from his wife that can strengthen their bond and glorify God. These qualities aren’t about striving for perfection but about cultivating godly character that honors both your spouse and the Lord.
1. Respectful Communication: One of the top qualities a husband cannot resist from his wife is respectful communication. Proverbs 18:21 reminds us, “The tongue has the power of life and death.” Speaking with kindness, patience, and respect—even during disagreements—creates an atmosphere of trust and understanding. Men feel deeply valued when they are respected, and the Scripture encourages wives to honor their husbands as leaders (1 Peter 3:7).
2. Gentle Spirit: Another quality a husband cannot resist in his wife is a gentle spirit. The Bible says, “A gentle answer turns away wrath” (Proverbs 15:1). A calm and peaceful demeanor fosters harmony in the home, even amid challenges. 1 Peter 3:4 highlights this inner beauty, describing it as “of great worth in God’s sight.”
3. Faithfulness to God: A wife who prioritizes her relationship with Christ inspires her husband in ways nothing else can. Faithfulness to God is a quality a husband cannot resist from his wife because it strengthens the spiritual foundation of their marriage. Joshua 24:15 calls families to serve the Lord wholeheartedly, and a godly wife leads by example.
4. Supportive Partnership: Husbands long for partners who believe in them and support their God-given vision. Ecclesiastes 4:9-10 illustrates the power of two working together: “If either of them falls down, one can help the other up.” This supportive partnership is another irresistible quality a husband finds in his wife.
5. Joyful Presence: Finally, a joyful presence is a quality a husband cannot resist from his wife. Proverbs 31:25 describes a virtuous woman whose “joy is her strength.” Her laughter and positivity make her husband feel loved and cherished.
These qualities aren’t about perfection but about pursuing Christlike character. As wives grow in these areas, they not only bless their husbands but also glorify God.
I pray for you: your marriage will reflect the unbreakable bond between Christ and His Bride—the Church.
