It is God’s presence that makes all of the difference and His guidance by His word. Joseph was in the prison, but bible declares that he prospered because he was a carrier of God’s presence.
Carry God along in your marriage and let God carry you on your marital journey.
Marriage is very hard and difficult when you go through marriage in your strength and wisdom.
Here are some tips I learnt from one of my mentors sometimes ago.
1. Giving
Every couple must be willing and ready to give and even sacrifice in their marriage. You must both give your spirit, soul and body. Let nothing be too big or too small to give to your spouse. Let your giving also be constant.
Give your time, attention, affection, your body unhindered to your spouse, money, energy, intellect. Don’t withhold whatsoever you have from your spouse. After God, your marriage comes next.
Your must prioritize your home and spouse above everyone on this earth. Not even your family members. Don’t give to any friend at the expense of your spouse.

2. Respect
Marriage is about respecting each other. The husband is not to demand respect as the head of the marriage. He earns it by being a servant leader.
The husband should also respect his wife. Respect your wife’s opinions, husbands. The way you show respect to your wife is peculiar to who she is. Respect her as a joint heir together of the promises of God. Respect is reciprocal and respect begat respect. So respect each other.
We will continue tomorrow by God’s grace.

ACTION PLAN FOR THE DAY Give your spouse a wonderful gift
Learning the principle of giving. Examine this: Sade tossed the bag of chips to Titi. The bag hit the sharp edge of the table and its contents spilled over the dirty floor. The whole class burst into laughter at this and Titi ran out of the class with tears streaming down her face.
‘I wanted to give her the chips since she asked for it.’ Sade said, laughing with the others. ‘Now she made me waste my chips.’
‘Then why did you throw it? You could have just given it to her.’ Anne scolded Sade.
‘She should have caught it. it’s just a bag of chips.’ Said Sade.
‘How would you feel if someone did the same to you?’ Asked Anne.
Yes, how would you feel if someone wanted to give you something and did so in the wrong way? Like Sade did to Titi.
When you want to give someone something or do them a favour, do so the way you would want to be done for or to you.
The bible tells us that how we give is how we will receive; “Good measure pressed down and running over”
Remember, God gave us life and He never treats us bad just because He is our Maker. He expects us to give in a way that will please Him. A way that we will expect to be given too.
So, remember to give the way you would want to be given. I trust that you have learntLearning the principle of giving
Prayer: Dear Father, forgive me for the times I have given the wrong way. Help me to remember to always give the way I would want to be given too, in Jesus name. Amen.
Action point: Give just the way you would want to be given.
Declaration: I am not selfish. I give the way I would love to receive.
When God will send help, He will use men. Appreciate people and don’t bang or kick at doors, if you must close doors, close them gently.
You might still need to pass through the same doors some years down the line. So, don’t take the doors off the hinges or the hinges off the door!
7. Decide to be nice.
Be ready to offer help when you can. Learn to relax and smile. You are not the only one that has issues, so don’t stamp them on your forehead. Don’t walk with your shoulder down like all the problems of the world are on you.
Don’t get so depressed because you have no suitors to the point that your countenance is sending them away without knowing!
Joh 15:12 (KJV) This is my commandment, That ye love one another, as I have loved you.
8. Decide to stay where you are appreciated and not where you are just tolerated.
Everybody wants to be appreciated. Our dog, Shady, would refuse to eat when you scream at her. How much more, humans! Don’t let men trample on you and your esteem. Don’t sell your body for money. Maintain your dignity.
1Ti 4:12 (KJV) Let no man despise thy youth; but be thou an example of the believers, in word, in conversation, in charity, in spirit, in faith, in purity.
9. Decide to be humble.
Remove every shoulder pad because God is just starting with you. The last miracle you got is the least God can do in your life. Stay humble. God resists and opposes the proud. He exalts the humble.
Thank God for every breakthrough and don’t let it get into your head. Don’t stop going to church because of a couple of millions in your account!
Jas 4:6 (KJV) But he giveth more grace. Wherefore he saith, God resisteth the proud, but giveth grace unto the humble.
10. Decide to be a giver.
Never ignore opportunities to give! Fulfill your vows. Don’t joke with your tithes. Be a kingdom investor and you will see more coming your way! It never fails.
Pro 11:24 (KJV) There is that scattereth, and yet increaseth;and there is that withholdeth more than is meet, but it tendeth to poverty.

PRAYER FOR THE DAY Lord, help me to be disciplined with my decisions.
THOUGHT FOR THE DAY Galatians 5:16, NLT: “So I say, let the Holy Spirit guide your lives. Then you won’t be doing what your sinful nature craves.”

Things that have to do with money are spiritual. Money is spiritual. Every man whether African, Asian, European, etc is spiritual… They obey something.
Altars are places where the realm of the spirit has control over the physical
Altars are places where of spiritual authorization.
THE BLESSINGS THAT COMES WITH SACRIFICE OF FIRSTFRUITS
1. The blessing of exemption.
You are set apart from every other person; the things that affect them, problems, crisis etc. when you give firstfruits
It enlists the involvement of God.
You need the involvement of God in every sphere of your life.
No one can predict the next change in the economy, environment and all – When God is involved, He makes His power available to you. When God’s power I released you will make profits, you will make heavenly decisions.
2. The blessing of honour. Num 27:20,1Sam2:30
Honour is supernatural recognition it makes a man noticeable. Honour is appreciation and celebration. Honour creates a supernatural influence around the person. When God honour you, kings will bow to you.
Firstfruits cause the blessing rests upon your house
My own will come to me. My blessings cannot hang. Amos 9:13
The things of the spirit is not creative but obedience…
