Your Days of Grieving Are Over

This year is such a strategic and special year! It is a year in which the enemy of your soul will want to fight your joy so much, and yet it is that year in which you must protect your joy so much!

God promises that your days of mourning are over. However, you must now make an effort to comply with that scripture.

Let’s look at the scriptures.

Isa 60:20 (KJV) Thy sun shall no more go down; neither shall thy moon withdraw itself: for the LORD shall be thine everlasting light, and the days of thy mourning shall be ended.

Your days of mourning are over!

Mourning, as the scripture refers to it, encompasses broken relationships and the accompanying hurt and agony.

Unhappiness in relationships and sadness within a marriage, stemming from incessant quarrels and squabbles, are also part of this process.

Let’s take a look at The Message Translation.

Isa 60:20 (MSG) Your sun will never go down, your moon will never fade. I will be your eternal light. Your days of grieving are over.

I adore that phrase. Your days of mourning are behind you!

On your part, you’re now cooperating with the scripture by refusing depression and despondency in your life with every fiber of your being!

You must consciously cultivate the spirit of joy and prevent anything from trying to steal it from you!

This year is so pivotal that you can’t let anything dampen your joy!

You have a responsibility to safeguard that joy and keep it safe!

Why would you go to such lengths?

It’s your strength!

The joy of the Lord is your strength! Protect your place of strength and ensure its safety. This guarantees constant and unwavering victory in life and all other aspects of your existence!

The days of mourning are over!

If anything is causing grief at this moment, God Himself will intervene in Jesus’ name!

Good morning!

Know These And Know Peace In Marriage

Know These And Know Peace In Marriage

Reading Time: 2 minutes

Know These And Know Peace In Marriage. I want to talk about two crucial things in marriage. They are pivotal to a smooth relationship as couples. Let’s dive into it.

Know These And Know Peace In Marriage

1. Renewal and Recharge Junctions

In marriage, you must learn to take breaks from work and relax. You have to have time that you spend together as husband and wife.

You need to go back to what used to excite you before the wedding and do those things again and again.

Apart from reading your Bible and praying in the Holy Ghost which refreshes and recharges your spirit, you should also learn to be relaxed once in a while.

2. Mentoring

Every marriage must have a mentor to whom you defer and seek wisdom.

There is something that a couple that has been married for thirty years knows that a three-year-old couple is oblivious of.

It is plain wisdom to seek counsel.

Most issues that lead to serious strife and possible separation and divorce could easily have been resolved by seeking knowledge.

That is why I am a little scared of couples who talk to nobody! Something is not quite right with that.  Part of having a marriage mentor is being humble.

3. Sincerity and Openness

Finally, this is so crucial to the survival of any marriage! Be open

Marriage is not a secret cult! Talk about everything and anything.

Hiding things and allowing your spouse to discover will only lead to mistrust and suspicion. The rule of the game is to talk about everything. That will go a long way to establishing trust. Know These And Know Peace In Marriage

If you keep talking exactly how it is, it would be difficult to go into adultery, because adultery is perpetuated in the platform of insincerity and deception. May God help us all.

I Am Filled With Joy And Peace

I Am Filled With Joy And Peace

Reading Time: 2 minutes

Hello dear, it’s another time to learn from God’s word.

Today I will be talking to you about Joy and Peace.

I know they are two familiar words, but let me help your memory by giving a simple definition.

Joy is a great feeling of happiness or pleasure; delight.

Peace on the other hand is a state of calmness and order.

These are two amazing things to have all at once.

It’s one of the prayers that can be found in the Bible. A prayer that we as God’s children be filled with Joy and Peace all at once and at the same time.

Let me show you what the Bible says;

May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace as you trust in him, so that you may overflow with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit.—Romans 15:13 (NIV)

There is a lot said in this bible verse, let’s pick them one after the other.

God has the capacity to fill you and I with Joy and Peace, if it were not so, we won’t find the request in the bible.

Another thing this verse says is that being filled with Joy and Peace happens as a result of trusting in God. Believing in Jesus his son is a fundamental aspect of this process.

Then it says so that you may overflow with hope. The word overflow means to have something to the extent that it begins to pour out. Like filling a cup with water so much that it begins to pour out.

So the bible is saying it’s possible for you to overflow with hope, overflow with an assurance that God always has your back.

Let’s look at another translation.

May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing [through the experience of your faith] that by the power of the Holy Spirit you will abound in hope and overflow with confidence in His promises. —Romans 15:13 (AMP)

I like how this translation ends it by saying we overflow with the confidence of God’s promises for us.

As God’s child, what has he promised you? Be confident in what he has said and it will surely come to pass.

Signs To Look Out For In That Relationship

Signs To Look Out For In That Relationship

Reading Time: 2 minutes

There are signs to know if he will eventually marry you or not. If only you decide not to ignore the signs. God is not an author of confusion, He is our father! He will not leave you alone. He would always make his will known if you allow him.

1. Spiritual signs

If you are a child of God and you are filled with the Spirit of God, the first thing that will happen to you if you are involved with a wrong person (notice I did not write a bad person) is that you will lose your peace.

How will you know if you have lost your peace or God is not with you on that decision? How does God speak?

Now, God speak in several ways, but I will talk about how He speaks to us through the revelation of the Holy Spirit.

There are three ways.

a. In inward peace; it is like God is saying, “Yes, my son,
go ahead, I trust you. The other side of inward peace is “A Check”

b. In inward witness; it is like God saying, Yes, my son, this is exactly what I want you to do. An inward witness is a little bit stronger than inward peace. The other side of Inner witness is a “A Bad Feeling.”

c. In inward voice; God grabs your attention and says “Yes, do this!’ It is the most specific because God specifically speaks to your heart through the Holy Spirit. The other side of inward voice is “Don’t Do It”

And let the peace (soul harmony which comes) from Christ rule (act as umpire continually) in your hearts [deciding and settling with finality all questions that arise in your minds, in that peaceful state] to which as [members of Christ’s] one body you were also called [to live]. And be thankful (appreciative), [giving praise to God always]. (Col 3:15 AMP)

Here is another translation

The peace that Christ gives is to guide you in the decisions you make; for it is to this peace that God has called you together in the one body. And be thankful. (Col 3:15 GNB)

When you read Acts 16:6-9, you will see examples of these leading.

What if you don’t ever bear God? Do a little bit of fasting and prayer. It will help you. Fasting puts down the outward man while prayer builds up the inward man. The result is that you hear God clearly.

Also, you need to get filled with the Holy Spirit with evidence of speaking in tongues! God is ever willing to baptize you with the Holy Spirit.

To be continued…

CONFESSION FOR THE DAY
I have God’s direction in my every day life

PRAYERS FOR THE DAY
Lord, guide my steps and help me to make the right decisions in Jesus name

THOUGHT FOR THE DAY
Psa 31:3 (KJV) For thou art my rock and my fortress; therefore for thy name’s sake lead me, and guide me.

The Fruit Of The Spirit And You – Part 3

The Fruit Of The Spirit And You – Part 3

Reading Time: < 1 minute

The next fruit of the Spirit we will be considering is peace. Not just peace, but the peace of God.

But when the Holy Spirit controls our lives he will produce this kind of fruit in us: love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control; and here there is no conflict with Jewish laws. – Gal 5:22-23 [TLB]

There is a story in the bible that explains the concept of peace perfectly. Let me try to summarize it.

A certain man was travelling in a boat with his friends one faithful day. The journey was smooth until all of a sudden, a mighty storm arose.

The friends of this man began to tremble and fear, wondering if it would be the end of their lives.

Out of trepidation, they woke him up and asked him to come salvage the situation.

Listen to what he did;

And He got up and [sternly] rebuked the wind and said to the sea, “Hush, be still (muzzled)!” And the wind died down [as if it had grown weary] and there was [at once] a great calm [a perfect peacefulness]. – Mark 4:39 [AMP]

Wow! A superman isn’t he?
Well, it happened exactly how he said. The wind ceased and the seas stopped.

What do you do when you feel there is absence of peace?
Don’t just embrace it as a norm, rebuke it, just like that man did.

May God help you to embrace the peace of God. Amen

Prayer:
Pray that God will help you embrace his peace.

Action point:
Rebuke that wind in your life

Declaration:
I have the peace of God.
