4 God’s word will become light and direction to help you choose as a single.
There is rigour in direction. Life is about decisions, but that is not all to it. Good life is about making the right decisions. The frailty of our human nature is overcome when we rely on God to lead us in our choice of marriage partner. ‘The Lord is my shepherd’ becomes a living story of our life when we embrace His word.
5. God’s word will bring stability to your relationship and marriage.
As you put God’s word in your heart, it will help your discernment in knowing the right people and the wrong ones. In a relationship or marriage, you need stability. You need God’s help to have a successful marriage. You need a wisdom from above that will not make your marriage follow the usual pattern of separations and divorce.
And wisdom and knowledge shall be the stability of thy times, and strength of salvation: the fear of the Lord is his treasure. (Isaiah 33:6 KJV)
6. God’s word will regulate and help maintain your relationship and marriage when you follow its principles.
Following the principles of God gleaned from His word will help to regulate your relationship or marriage from the hullabaloo of marital journey.
7. God’s word will help you to have peace of mind in that relationship or marriage
God’s word brings peace. It helps put the couple at rest and delivers them from cheating on each other. It helps the couple to be satisfied with each other, and saves them from the pits that the enemy might have dug on their paths.
8. God’s word will help you to raise your children
When you train a child in the way he should go in the principles and systems of God, he will not depart from those principles when he grows up.
Rather than worry about the overwhelming peer pressure that an average youth is exposed to, show that youth the ways of God and his or her destiny will be preserved.

Here are ten things that God’s word will do for you.
1. God’s word will clean up your past
It doesn’t matter what your past looked like, the word of God, anointed in and of itself, will wipe the slate clean for you! It is almost unbelievable and incredible to the human mind, but in one stroke of sacrifice, Jesus paid the price on your behalf. The past should never hold you to ransom again. You have been made free. The mistakes of yester-years can no longer bear its fangs at you today!
2. God’s word will birth hope for your future
After your past is forgiven and forgotten, the same word of God will birth hope in you. This hope is a necessary ingredient to help you receive the fullness of God. All of a sudden, light dawns on your heart and hope comes alive, that it is not over, after all.
3. God’s word will produce faith in your heart to conquer the world.
Faith comes by hearing God’s word. As you hear and read more of God’s word, faith will rise in you. Why is faith so important? It is with faith that you will wrought victory in God!
For whatsoever is born of God overcometh the world:and this is the victory that overcometh the world, even our faith. (1 John 5:4 KJV)
See it in Message Translation:
Every God–begotten person conquers the world’s ways. The conquering power that brings the world to its knees is our faith. (1 John 5:4 Message)
Did you see that? Faith that comes through God’s word has the power to bring the world and its systems to its knees! Glory to God!

“But candidly speaking, your perspective is wrong. Don’t waste your time on what will not work.”
Phone rings, as they made to enter their room.
Nancy picked up her phone and looked at the name on the screen. It was one of her boyfriends, the one that was not caring, but gives her a lot of money.
“I beg, make I pick important call, my foodstuff don nearly finish!”
As she chatted away, Angie sat down on the edge of her bed and ruminated. She prayed silently to God to help her communicate and help her friend who is obviously dancing with imminent disappointments.
She knew what she was doing wouldn’t work. It was simply not God’s order. She wondered at how her roommate had trivialized what is clearly a sin, how she kind of mocked God with her attitude to life.
She seemed to be enjoying it now and she prayed for her silently as the scripture came to her mind:
Behold, all ye that kindle a fire, that compass yourselves about with sparks: walk in the light of your fire, and in the sparks that ye have kindled. This shall ye have of mine hand; ye shall lie down in sorrow. – Isa 50:11
She knew all Nancy was reveling in were sparks…and she prayed to God to send light her way, before the night time, when her bed would have been decked up with sorrow!
Despite all she is doing, she knows God loves her deeply, but that is not enough, she needs to love the Lord too and that is where the real blessing is!
When she sees the light, then she would realize she has been living in the sparks!

THOUGHT FOR THE DAY Marriage is honourable in all, and the bed undefiled: but whoremongers and adulterers God will judge. Hebrews 13:4 KJV
Light is synonymous with something good, beauty, clarity, understanding and so much more. Little children, Jesus calls us his friends, the Light of the world.
See what the Bible says in
“You are the light of the world—like a city on a hilltop that cannot be hidden. – Matthew 5:14 (NLT)
Another translation says;
“Your lives light up the world. For how can you hide a city that stands on a hilltop? – Matthew 5:14 (TPT)
This means first of all, that you and I are an important part of the world. We play a very significant role. Without us, something vital will be missing on earth.
You, dear child, have to know this and live in the reality of what God calls you. You are a solution bearer!
Notice how switching on the light bulb in a dark room makes all the difference.
God wants you to shine your light in school, at home, on the playground with your friends, around elders and everywhere you find yourself.
How do you shine your light as a child of God?
1. By praying for your parents
2. By praying for the sick to receive healing
3. By obeying the 10 commandments
4. By trusting the Holy Spirit to help you all the time
5. By showing love to everyone around you.
May God bless you more as you deploy your gifts in the service of God, Amen.

In the name of Jesus, I have light and direction. The sun and moon will guide and illuminate my path. I will not live in darkness. I receive light in my finances. My relationship/marriage receives light. The light of God’s word dispels every dark area of my life. My days of mourning are over. Glory to God. Henceforth, it shall be rejoicing evermore. No more depression. No more sorrow. No more heartbreaks. My morning has come! My joy is now! I will rejoice all the days of my life. Hallelujah.
