When God Looks At You, What Will He See?

When God Looks At You, What Will He See?

Reading Time: 2 minutes

The state of the heart is very important because that’s what God will see. When God looks down from heaven, he looks straight into your heart.

Unlike man, God doesn’t see the pulchritude or outward appearance, he looks inward.

Only God can see how desperately wicked a man’s heart is.

Only God knows the lady winking at you this moment but is plotting your downfall.

Only God sees beyond the nose.

Only God that sees the heart that loves you now and will love you some twenty-three years from now.

1 Sam 16:7 But the LORD said unto Samuel, Look not on his countenance, or on the height of his stature; because I have refused him: for the LORD seeth not as man seeth; for man looketh on the outward appearance, but the LORD looketh on the heart.

When God looks into your heart, what does he see? Will he see pride, arrogance, bitterness, rebellion, and all sorts?

Will he see perversion, scheming, devilish plots and what have you?

If God gives you the go-ahead to do what you have in mind, what will it be?

2 Sam 7:1-3 KJV And it came to pass, when the king sat in his house, and the LORD had given him rest round about from all his enemies; 2 That the king said unto Nathan the prophet, See now, I dwell in an house of cedar, but the ark of God dwelleth within curtains. 3 And Nathan said to the king, Go, do all that is in thine heart; for the LORD is with thee.

See another person;

John 13:27, 30 (TPT) And when Judas ate the piece of bread, Satan entered him. Then Jesus looked at Judas and said, “What you are planning to do, go do it now. 30 So Judas left quickly and went out into the dark night to betray Jesus.

If God gives you the go-ahead to start that relationship, will it be a disaster? Think about it.

God did not have respect for Cain’s offering because he saw his heart. God knew he had the capacity to give more, but he decided to withhold it….and God said it would have been better for you not to have given at all.

So God is saying if all you want to be doing is taking selfies at cinema halls, I think you should still remain single… hehe…

If all you want to be doing has no kingdom relevance, God will just be shaking his head from heaven.

Ps 24:3-4 KJV Who shall ascend into the hill of the LORD? or who shall stand in his holy place? 4 He that hath clean hands, and a pure heart; who hath not lifted up his soul unto vanity, nor sworn deceitfully.

Can you see how God lays premium on the heart?

Watch what enters your heart this season. Be deliberate and intentional. Guard your heart with all diligence. Don’t train your heart to accommodate heartache…it can make the heart sick. Your heart is sacred. Don’t make it a dumping ground.

Selah!

You Too Can Shine

You Too Can Shine

Reading Time: < 1 minute

Dear Child, do you know that you too can shine? There is a passage of the Scripture that talks about you shining brighter and brighter.

But the path of the just is as the shining light, that shineth more and more unto the perfect day. 4:19 The way of the wicked is as darkness: they know not at what they stumble. – Proverbs 4:18-19

Who is the Just?

1. Whoever has received Jesus Christ as Lord and saviour

2. A person that obey God’s word

3. A person that reads the Bible diligently

4. A person that prays all the time

5. Obedience to your parents is one of the proof of being just.

It’s a choice to be called just or wicked, the Bible clearly States the difference by showing us what happens to the just and the reward of the wicked.

The Bible equates being just with having light and being wicked with Darkness.

Tomorrow, I will shed more light on this topic.

Prayer:
Lord, help me to shine brighter. Amen

Action point:
Study the word “light”

Declaration:
I am a child of light. There is no darkness in me.

How To Embrace The Love of The Father – Part 2

How To Embrace The Love of The Father – Part 2

Reading Time: 2 minutes

Continued from yesterday…

As you read this, let every hurt and bitterness that you have towards God and man go, for it is an attempt of the devil to draw you into deception and depression. God is gracious! He is willing to stoop low to bless you. As a Father, He is full of compassion. When you begin to think about this, it is amazing how you will experience that compassion. God is good towards you. You are the work of His hands.

Rather than get bitter toward God, think about how His goodness and compassion will get you out of any mess.

As a single, you might have been abused or violated before you reached the age of accountability. Rather than give up and be regarded as part of the unfortunate statistics of sexual abuse, rise from that abyss, get out of the doldrums of yester-years, and look unto Him that is able to save to the uttermost.

He will embrace you and wipe the tears off your face. He will heal every wound, take all bitterness away from your heart, and bring out the best in you.

Think about it. Believe it. His tender mercies are over you. Respond to His love and experience the tender love of divinity coming upon your humanity.

You see, in order to enjoy that fullness of God’s love, you have to synergize with God and cooperate with His principles.

I see you rising from that problem that has kept you down for long. I see light dawning upon your soul. I see God’s word percolating every pressure and dismantling them.

His love is awesome. Thank him for His love. Forget about what you are going through, and dwell on what He went through for you! It changes the whole equation, and the devil will retreat. You will come to know that it is only by responding to God’s love that you understand how to love others and how to be loved!

I see you having victory!

I position myself to benefit from God’s tender mercies. Goodness and mercy are following me.

I uproot every root of bitterness from my life in Jesus Name.

You are merciful, LORD! You are kind and patient and always loving. You are good to everyone, and you take care of all your creation. (Psa 145:8-9 CEV)

ACTION PLAN FOR THE DAY
Make a list of all who have offended you in the past. Consciously let go and forgive them. It might not look easy, but do it all the same.

God Forgave You Of Every Sin –Part 2

God Forgave You Of Every Sin –Part 2

Reading Time: 2 minutes

CHILDREN –

Dear child, yesterday we began talking about how God forgave you. The gift of forgiveness of sins is one of God’s greatest gifts to humanity. It’s a gift because it’s not what we deserve, the bible says all have sinned and fallen short of the glory of God.

for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God, -Romans 3:23 (NIV)

So you see, we all had fallen short, but God gifted us forgiveness of sin out of His mercy and redeemed us from a life of death.

Today I want to tell you about the significance of God’s forgiveness, and why it’s so important.

When you were dead in your sins and in the uncircumcision of your sinful nature, God made you alive with Christ. He forgave us all our sins, – Colossians 2:13 (NIV)

  • God has made you and I alive instead of being dead in sin
  • You are now in the kingdom of light, never to return to darkness

Who hath delivered us from the power of darkness, and hath translated us into the kingdom of his dear Son: -Colossians 1:13 (KJV)

  • You can now be called a child of God
  • You are assured of God’s love for you
  • You no longer have to walk in fear.

How amazing is this, God has been gracious to us all.

“For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life. – John 3:16 (NIV)

PRAYER:
Father in Jesus name, I just want to thank you for forgiving my sins and giving me a new life. Amen.

ACTION PLAN:
Decide to live a life free of sin

DECLARATION:
I am a child of God, he has forgiven me my sins when Jesus died on the cross and so I live a life free of sin. Amen

What Will God’s Word Do For You?

What Will God’s Word Do For You?

Reading Time: 2 minutes

Have you ever wondered what God’s Word will do for you? Alright, start by thinking about what a lamp does? It gives light to a dark area, right? Dark areas are beyond the physical dark places in your environment that require you to switch on the light or use a torch to see.

The unseen dark areas of your life include the times when you are unsure of what to do out of maybe confusion, fear, or pressure.

While in these dark places in your heart and mind, you need light and not a physical light but the light of God.

Divine light instantly lights up everywhere, driving out shadows and making you see well. This divine light is God’s word, the bible.

The psalmist in chapter 119 and verse 105 acknowledges what God’s word does for him.

“Your word is a lamp to my feet and a light to my path.” – Psalm 119:105

This shows that with God’s word as your light, you won’t lose your footing. You won’t fall into any form of sin, fear, confusion, or bow down to any form of pressure from anyone to make you commit a sin. And even if you happen to want to fall, His word will still help you not to fall.

His word won’t let you fall for they will lighten up your path. They will give you an understanding of any situation you are facing at school, home, or anywhere.

His word will teach you how to handle the situation. He will guide you on what to say, do, or how to act.

God’s word is very powerful. Able to guide, teach and save you from any challenges you might have. His word is also able to show you how you could have managed past problems.

This way, when such situations rise up again, you already know how to handle them.

Remember this verse when you seem not to know what to do. Go into God’s word and let his light keep your feet firm and your path bright.

God bless you. Amen.

Prayer:
Lord, I thank You for your word and how it divinely helps me walk right in this world. In Jesus name. Amen.

Action point:
Rely on God’s word for all your situations.

Declaration:
The word is my life.
