One of the tools the devil uses against the body of Christ is to capitalize on the believer’s ignorance but the question is; Are believers truly ignorant?
The word of God says in Hosea 4:6 “My people are destroyed from lack of knowledge…” Why should we be destroyed, because we lack knowledge when it can be sought for?
In every season of the believer’s life, the right knowledge is needed. It’s about time we understand the authority we have and use it to our advantage.
Jesus Christ said, “Behold, I give unto you power” That power given is meant for use and not to be kept.
Why should you wake up from a dream frightened, when there’s an authority you have in Christ as a believer?
Why is our attitude to positive dreams so calm, but when it’s a negative dream, you can wake up suddenly and pray for hours, just to terminate it, why can’t we pray those positive ones into reality also?
The first authority we have is our identity in Christ. The life of Christ has been given to us to become the sons of God, who have been transformed into the kingdom of His marvelous life. Jesus Christ said on the cross, “It is finished.”
The word of the enemy over our life is finished, the grip of sin over our life is finished, the power of sickness over our life has come to an end, whatsoever that is not of God in our life came to an end when He said, it is finished.
These are the things the devil doesn’t want you to know. The day you know the truth, there’s a freedom that comes with it, and then the application of this truth is peace, dominion, and breakthrough.
Another authority we have is in His word. Hebrews 4:12 says: “The word of God is quick and powerful, and sharper than any two-edged sword…” It’s deeper than we can ever imagine, the Bible says, the words I speak, are Spirit and Life. This word will only be life for us when we know the life-giver Himself.
The efficacy of the word is activated by God. The word is beyond mere words, you must read it till it becomes the life that awakens your spirit man.
These words established the world, and that’s the authority we are talking about, even the dry bones in the valley received life by the word.
Irrespective of the bad reports that look like the end, the word of God can give life back to it.
Believers, it’s time for us to arise and take our stand. Enough of giving the devil an upper hand over our lives, it’s time to take charge and authority.
Begin to speak those same words into your life now believing it’s done.
God’s love is the foundation of our faith. It is not just an abstract concept but a reality that He constantly reveals in our lives.
His love is evident in everything He does because love is an action word.
John 3:16 For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten son that whosoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.
The love of God comes with actions each time He expresses it to us. He’s so intentional about you and I that He gave us dominion and access through His son (Jesus Christ) whom He made our advocate.
How does God demonstrate His love for His children?
God demonstrates His love for His children in many ways, and the Bible is full of examples of His deep and unchanging love through:
1. Jesus Christ’s Sacrifice
God’s greatest demonstration of love is sending Jesus to die for our sins. Jesus Christ is His only begotten son and the second in trinity yet He gave Him out for the atonement of our sins. (Romans 5:8)
2. Adoption after Redemption
After the redemption Jesus Christ brought to us, we were now called sons and daughters of God which is an incredible access to God. God doesn’t just love us, He adopts us into His family.
1 John 3:1 See what great love the Father has lavished on us, that we should be called children of God! And that is what we are.
The day we give our life to Christ is the signage of our adoption.
3. Provision for our Needs
God cares about every detail of our lives, including our daily needs. The word of God says, “Cast all your anxiety on him because he cares for you.” (1 Peter 5:7) He is ever ready to show up for us in time of need. All that we need is to ask so we can receive from Him.
In conclusion, no matter where you are in life, single or married, employed or unemployed, trust in His love, it is always present, always faithful, and always enough.
I have learnt over time, that there are certain blessings you don’t have to pray for. The scriptures rightly tell us what to do if we want these blessings activated in our lives, finances, and relationships. One of such blessings is the blessing of longevity.
Long life comes from honoring one’s parents.
Eph 6:1-3 [NLT] Children, obey your parents because you belong to the Lord, for this is the right thing to do. “Honor your father and mother.” This is the first commandment with a promise:If you honor your father and mother, “things will go well for you, and you will have a long life on the earth.”
So rather than praying for a long life, focus on honoring your parents- biological and spiritual.
Likewise, the blessing of favor has an instruction attached.
Ps 5:12 [ESV] For you bless the righteous, O LORD; you cover him with favor as with a shield.
This simply means for you to be favored, you have to be righteous. It’s as simple as that. You cannot be living in sin and expect the favor of God to rest upon you.
Let’s see how this verse is explained in another translation
Ps 5:12 [AMPC] For You, Lord, will bless the [uncompromisingly] righteous [him who is upright and in right standing with You]; as with a shield You will surround him with goodwill (pleasure and favor).
A life of compromise cannot attract the favor of God.
Look at Joseph. What made him favored in the prison? It was his life of righteousness that God saw and decided to show him favor.
Gen 39:21 [KJV] But the LORD was with Joseph, and shewed him mercy, and gave him favour in the sight of the keeper of the prison.
While it is good to pray for the favor of God, it is better to lead a life of righteousness.
I adore the word “ability”! It’s a potent word that embodies boundless possibilities with grace. However, when the word “disability” or “disabled” is used, it instantly conveys a sense of weakness and negativity!
An able man is what every woman wants!
However, the narrative even gets stronger when the reference is God.

2Co 9:8 (KJV) And God is able to make all grace abound toward you; that ye, always having all sufficiency in all things, may abound to every good work:
We are aware of God’s immense power and His ability to perform both great deeds and undo them. However, does He possess the power to intervene in our lives and bring about positive change?
The good news is that God is indeed capable of doing so!
Well, good news. God is able!
What is He able to do?
He is able to make all grace abound. This refers to abundance, a place of overflow, and more than enough.
Let’s check the Passion Translation:
2Co 9:8 (TPT) Yes, God is more than ready to overwhelm you with every form of grace, so that you will have more than enough of everything—every moment and in every way. He will make you overflow with abundance in every good thing you do. He is going to overwhelm you with every form of grace!
And you’ll be blessed with an abundance of everything you desire!
He’ll shower you with prosperity in every righteous endeavor you undertake!
Isn’t that incredible?
In Jesus’ name, you will have an abundant and overflowing experience in the coming year! You will not lack anything; you will not be in a state of panic or chaos.
Pray the following three prayers:
Pray that every aspect of your business, career, job, or ministry will yield abundant fruit in Jesus’ name.
Confess by faith the flow of new ideas, visions, and breakthroughs.
Pray for the wisdom to take action that will result in blessing and abundance!

Or is it more like a journey of finding and building a relationship that honors God? Let’s unpack this with a mix of biblical truth, some laughs, and maybe a little bit of “Wow, I’ve never thought about it that way.”
What Does “Soulmate” Even Mean in Christian Theology?
When you hear “soulmate,” what pops into your head? Maybe it’s Adam and Eve, the OG power couple. Genesis tells us God created Eve from Adam’s rib (Genesis 2:22), and if that doesn’t scream “divinely crafted connection,” what does? Eve was literally made to complement Adam—spiritually, emotionally, and physically. This has been the blueprint for the whole soulmate concept in Christian circles.
But let’s fast-forward to today. While some people still believe in the “one true match” idea, many Christians now see the soulmate thing in a broader light. It’s not just about romance. It could be your bestie who challenges your faith or a mentor who helps you grow. Essentially, soulmates might not be as limited as rom-coms make them out to be.

Let’s get into the Word. The Bible is packed with love stories, but do they really back up the idea of soulmates?
Adam and Eve: Their union was definitely God-orchestrated, but it’s not exactly a Hallmark movie. They faced temptation, sin, and blame-shifting, yet they stuck it out. This shows that even a “perfectly paired” couple has to work at their relationship.
Ruth and Boaz: Talk about a meet-cute! Ruth chooses loyalty and faithfulness, and Boaz steps up as her redeemer. God’s hand is all over their story, but they also made intentional choices that brought them together.
Song of Solomon: This book is basically the Bible’s love poetry mixtape. It’s steamy, it’s romantic, but it also shows that love is a gift to be cherished within commitment.
Bottom line? These stories show us that love isn’t just about fate. It’s about choices, trust, and, most importantly, God’s guidance.
The Soulmate Myth: Divine Providence vs. Free Will

Divine Providence: God has a plan for your life, including your relationships. (Think Jeremiah 29:11, “For I know the plans I have for you.”)

God’s Timing > Your Timeline: Trust me, God isn’t up there going, “Oops, I forgot about you!” He’s crafting a story that’s bigger and better than you can imagine (Ephesians 3:20).
Focus on Becoming, Not Just Finding: Instead of obsessing over finding “the one,” work on becoming someone who embodies Christ-like love, patience, and kindness.
How to Navigate Relationships as a Christian
Whether you’re single, dating, or married, here’s some advice that applies across the board:
Pray About It: Seriously, prayer isn’t just a checkbox. It’s a way to invite God into your decisions and ask for clarity.
Look for Shared Values: A strong relationship is built on mutual faith, goals, and understanding. Find someone who loves God as much as (or more than) you do.
Don’t Idolize the Soulmate Concept: Relationships take work, and no one is perfect. If you’re expecting a flawless, fairytale romance, you’re setting yourself up for disappointment.
Lean on Community: Friends, family, and church leaders can give you valuable insight into your relationships. Don’t navigate this alone.
Be Open to Growth: Every relationship, whether romantic or platonic, is an opportunity to grow closer to God and reflect His love.
