God is interested in your relationship and marriage. God will always lead you even though He allows you to do the choosing. He will not force anyone on you. But if you ask for His direction, He will lead you and often reveal to you His best choice for you.
It is only God that sees you in some thirty years’ time, sees your intended spouse in some years to come, and knows what you will be doing before then, by then and after then, hence he knows the best person fit for you!
House and riches are the inheritance from fathers, but a wise, understanding, and prudent wife is from the Lord. – Pro 19:14 AMP
I love the above scripture. You see, there is a plan of God for you concerning your marital life and it is important you follow that plan!
To understand this, we will go back to the very first story of marriage in the scripture. From there, we can always see the pattern that God has established. God’s methods may change, but His underlying principles remain unchanged!
And the LORD God said, It is not good that the man should be alone; I will make him an help meet for him. And out of the ground the LORD God formed every beast of the field, and every fowl of the air; and brought them unto Adam to see what he would call them: and whatsoever Adam called every living creature, that was the name thereof. And Adam gave names to all cattle, and to the fowl of the air, and to every beast of the field; but for Adam there was not found an help meet for him. And the LORD God caused a deep sleep to fall upon Adam, and he slept: and he took one of his ribs, and closed up the flesh instead thereof; And the rib, which the LORD God had taken from man, made he a woman, and brought her unto the man. And Adam said, This is now bone of my bones, and flesh of my flesh: she shall be called Woman, because she was taken out of Man. – Gen 2:18-23 KJV
In verse eighteen, God rightly said the man needed a helper. So he created Eve for Adam. God created an Eve, not a Steve! God’s order is clear from the beginning! Man and another man is not God’s order. Two women in marriage is an aberration, it is not God’s order! That is just by the way.
After God created Adam and established he needed help, God created all animals and brought them to Adam to see what He would call them. Thank God, Adam named them appropriately and didn’t call a baboon a wife in the process. If Adam had looked at a monkey and said this is the bone of my bone….that would have spelt some trouble!
This could actually have happened because verse 20 says,
…but for Adam there was not found an help meet for him.
You must learn to name people appropriately and not go out with everybody or jump in bed with everyone and anyone! This is my boss. This is my colleague. This is just a friend! This is just an acquaintance. This is an unbeliever.
Like Adam, you must name people rightly! Not everybody is your helper! Some are nice but they are destiny killers! There are handsome destiny destroyers and beautiful dream abortionists. You must name people appropriately and you must not allow desperation to push you out of God’s will!

CONFESSION FOR THE DAY By the Spirit of God, I am making wise decisions concerning my spouse. I make the most of opportunities in my relationships.
PRAYER FOR THE DAY Lord, I ask for an anointing of wisdom. Teach me to do the best and at the right time.
THOUGHT FOR THE DAY Lam 3:27 KJV It is good for a man that he bear the yoke in his youth.
ACTION PLAN FOR THE DAY Discern which season you are now and ask God for wisdom to maximize it and choose your spouse.
Throughout every generation, God seeks a man that can bear his flag. Look through the scripture and you will see that God is always in search of a man that can stand for him and his people.
See what the bible says here;
And I sought for a man among them… -Ezekiel 22:30 (KJV)
What kind of man is God in search of?
God wants a man that will lift up holy hands in his presence. A man compelled and propelled by a sense of destiny. He wants a man he can bless and prosper who will not withhold from my kingdom, a man that can be his mouthpiece at home and at work; that the anointing can be placed upon!
God wants a man that will not falsify documents, a man that will be faithful to his wife. He wants a man that can be made a channel of blessing to others, someone who will not bow to the systems of the world. God wants a man king enough to bear his message, and lamb enough to refuel in his presence.
A humble man is who God is searching for!
Are you a man he can bless to bless others? Are you a channel?
God doesn’t want a dam! He wants a man he can exalt who will exalt others, not an intimidated and insecure man who is yielded to the flesh all the time.
Are you a man that can raise sons, and not add sores into other destinies?
God wants a man who knows that his kingdom is perpetuated in lifting others and not putting them down.
God is seeking for a man, even in this generation, who will repair destinies and not wreck them; a man that will remember where God picked him from and not mutilate other destinies.
God wants a man that is conscious of the day of reckoning between him and his maker, the very day he will stand before God to give an account of all he has done.
Are you God’s man? Are you one who forgives easily, not someone who will churn out weapons in his arsenal to destroy others?
God seeks a man he can use to lift burdens off others and not add more.
God seeks a man who will not use his name to manipulate ladies into sexual relationships!
God seeks a man who will not use the grace he is given to bring disgrace into the kingdom!
God wants a man who will not try to build ‘his kingdom’ at the expense of the kingdom of his dear son. Can God trust you with His power and riches?
Are you that man who will not use the wisdom and the platform you have been given to manipulate destinies and leave them warped at the end?
God wants a man whose heart is after him!
My question for you this morning is; are you the man God is looking for?
CONFESSION FOR THE DAY I am a good man / I will find a good man. God will help me!
PRAYER FOR THE DAY Father in the name of Jesus, I ask that you flood the eyes of my mind with revelation light. As I study your word give me understanding. Let my relationship be transformed as my mind gets renewed daily.
THOUGHT FOR THE DAY I will therefore that men pray everywhere, lifting up holy hands, without wrath and doubting. -1Timothy 2:8 (KJV)
ACTION PLAN FOR THE DAY Check the man in you and sincerely take an inventory to see whether you are pleasing God
There are many potential virtuous women among prostitutes out there! What they are doing is wrong but the way they pursue their trade relentlessly is the same way they will pursue their destiny if they ever meet Jesus!
Jesus told the adulterous woman, “Go and sin no more!”
It was her sinful life that swallowed up the virtuous woman in her. But if she ever listened to Jesus, if she walked away from that adulterous lifestyle, she became a virtuous woman!
A virtuous woman is a lady who is under tremendous sexual pressure in her office but refuses to dip her hands in adultery!
That is why Proverbs 31:11-12 says:
The heart of her husband doth safely trust in her, so that he shall have no need of spoil. She will do him good and not evil all the days of her life. –Proverbs 31:11-12(KJV)
My submission this morning is not to validate a sinful lifestyle; but to call you out of the sinful lifestyle into the virtuous woman that you are meant to be.
The harlot that welcomed the spies that were sent to the Promised Land was eventually mentioned alongside people like Moses and other Patriarchs because of the inner strength she had but was covered up with a sinful lifestyle.
Guys, before you judge anybody, try and know where they are coming from!
To every lady out there this morning, I write to the virtue on your insides. I am calling forth the virtuous woman that lies within you this morning. I feel like I have a trumpet to my mouth to sound an alarm and to issue an edict to every devil trying to distract you and confuse you that their time is up!
I write to the great destiny that lies within you, come alive! I write to the great wife and incredible mother in you, covered in a myriad of weaknesses, come forth in the name of Jesus! I call forth the greatness in you!
Some of you have been abused before you knew your left from right. Some of you have been introduced to sexual intercourse before you reached the age of accountability. It wasn’t your fault, but it would be to your detriment if you remain in that state!
Yes, you may not have been able to influence your past, but from today, you can determine what your future will look like!
Don’t let the devil tell you, you are too far gone! That is a lie from the pit of hell. Jesus is able to save from the gutter-most to the uttermost!
Arise and shine! You can have a great home! You can have a beautiful marriage. All you need to change the equation of your life is Jesus Christ!
He will forgive, cleanse, wash you and make you a new person!
CONFESSION FOR THE DAY I am replacing negative thoughts with positive ones. I’m not defeated in my mind. My relationship is taking a new turn.
PRAYER FOR THE DAY Father in the name of Jesus, as I study your word give me understanding. Let my mind be transformed and renewed daily.
THOUGHT FOR THE DAY Since we consider and look not to the things that are seen but to the things that are unseen; for the things that are visible are temporal (brief and fleeting), but the things that are invisible are deathless and everlasting. -2Corinthians 4:18 (AMP)
ACTION PLAN FOR THE DAY Fill your mind with pictures of a better life and a beautiful marriage. See everything about working and you will have what you see.
A faithful man is a trustworthy man. He is a truthful man! A truthful man is not deceptive. He is not magma of flowing wickedness within covered with the façade of a nice man and waiting to erupt.
A faithful man loves a lady genuinely for who she is and not for what she gives. A faithful man is not out to satisfy his lust only to discard the lady later.
A faithful man will not insist on pre-marital sex, nay, his love for God will not prevail on the lady to compromise her virtue and offend God.
A faithful man is the protector of the lady’s body. He is not one to take advantage of her femininity!
A faithful man is not a Samson that lacks self-control and would not mind using his anointing to desecrate the one he is meant to take care of.
A faithful man is not a Samson that will preach and move in the Spirit one moment only to end up frolicking with prostitutes and ending up on Delilah’s lap.
A faithful man is not an Amnon that would profess his love one moment passionately and then would rape a Tamar the next moment.
A faithful man is not a Uriah that loves his job more than his wife all in the name of loyalty and then died in the process!
A faithful man is not a Judas that would greet and beg you with a kiss as a friend when all he is out for is your body to be crucified!
A faithful man will not compete with his wife. He is secure and he is happy when his wife is progressing.
A faithful man loves and does not lust. A faithful man does not scheme. He does not suddenly give his life to Jesus in order to marry a naïve and unsuspecting child of God and then takes his life back from Jesus after getting what he wants.
A faithful man will not raise his hands against a lady. The fear of God will not allow it knowing that he would be shooting himself in the leg by doing that!
A faithful man is not a gold-digger. A faithful man is not getting married to a lady because of papers and documents. A faithful man follows God’s direction in his life. A faithful man does not marry for money!
A faithful man does not teach against sexual perversion on the pulpit only to be caught up continually with masturbation, pornography, and fornication and yet without repentance!
A faithful man does not double date. He does not take advantage of the fragile emotions of ladies.
A faithful man does not scheme and he does not pretend.
A faithful man is a Joseph that loves God and will say a big NO to compromise knowing that compromise can truncate his destiny.
A faithful man learns to run away like Joseph in the face of sexual pressure and will not start speaking in tongues at such times. He learns to flee and will not spiritualize it by saying “let us reason together!
The list goes on but I will stop here for now. You can add your definition in the comment box.
Stay blessed!
CONFESSION FOR THE DAY I am a faithful man/virtuous woman.
PRAYER FOR THE DAY Lord, help me to become the person you have created me to be and let the faithful man/virtuous woman in me emerge
THOUGHT FOR THE DAY Thou shalt keep them, O LORD, thou shalt preserve them from this generation forever. –Psalms 12:7 (KJV)
ACTION PLAN FOR THE DAY Commit every issue in your relationship into the hands of God
A few days back, I began writing to you about “The Virtuous Woman”, I know a lot of you must be curious as to whether there is anything like a virtuous man, especially the lady folks.
Well, the scripture never mentions anything like a virtuous man but it did talk about men! And that is what I want us to see this morning.
The scriptures say about women:
Who can find a virtuous woman? For her price is far above rubies. –Proverbs 31:10 (KJV)
Then it says about men:
Most men will proclaim everyone his own goodness: but a faithful man who can find? –Proverbs 20:6 (KJV)
So essentially, the Bible talks about a virtuous woman and a faithful man!
The question is where can one find a faithful man? In fact, The Message translations say:
Lots of people claim to be loyal and loving, but where on earth can you find one? –Proverbs 20:6 (MSG)
The writer of Psalm 12 even sounds like you cannot find such a man again!
Help, LORD; for the godly man ceaseth; for the faithful fail from among the children of men. –Psalms 12:1 (KJV)
Other translations even added pepper on top!
HELP, LORD! For principled and godly people are here no more; faithfulness and the faithful vanish from among the sons of men. –Psalms 12:1 (AMP)
Quick, GOD, I need your helping hand! The last decent person just went down, All the friends I depended on gone. –Psalms 12:1 (MSG)
However, I will like you to know there are still faithful men! It takes a virtuous woman to be found by a faithful man!
There is someone that changes the equation of unfaithfulness. His name is Jesus. He is the only one that can make a difference in the life of a man and who can make the vilest of sinners become a faithful man!
Jesus saw Nathanael coming toward Him and said concerning him, See! Here is an Israelite indeed [a true descendant of Jacob], in whom there is no guile nor deceit nor falsehood nor duplicity! –John 1:47 (AMP)
In the above scripture, Jesus actually found a faithful man! You see when Jesus shows up on the scene, you will find faithful men!
So who is a faithful man? How do I identify one?
