This is a very relevant topic to all people who are married. We all belong to one of these groups in our marriage.

c. Your intimacy is bad and you are close to compromising
d. You are enjoying your intimacy
e. Your intimate life is very dry and boring and you are bothered
f. Your intimacy is not good and you don’t care.

Every couple must fall under one of these seven categories. Five of these categories are very bad and need urgent attention.
You must keep the flames in the bedroom red hot. The health of a marriage is largely dependent on the health of the bedroom.
Wives, don’t use love-making as a reward system for your husband, whereby when he is good and you are happy with him, you give him your body. You are not a prostitute who gives sex for reward.
Deal with every issue before they are allowed to cripple your love life.
Intimacy is first of the heart before it becomes of the body. All inhibitions must be taken off your marriage until you both become naked and not ashamed.
Close all doors to the enemy and swallow your pride. You cannot be full of yourself and expect things to work out. Some wives issue out commands to their husbands just so that they can make love to them. They become lord of the rings.
Don’t leave your matrimonial bed. Don’t sleep in different rooms, it will not work. Pray for whatever flaws he/ she has. Don’t judge or criticize your spouse to the point of rejecting them.
Whatever the issue, you are married. Save your marriage before it is too late. Forgive yourselves and embrace each other. Your marriage can still work out beautifully well.

A person is said to be committed when he or she is pledged or bound to a certain course or policy, when he or she is devoted to a task or purpose, exclusively allocated to or intended for a particular purpose.
So a person is committed to his/her spouse when he/she is bound or pledged to the course of the marriage covenant.
First, being committed to your spouse is a thing of the heart. You must have it settled in your heart that you have the best spouse given to you by God.
You may have to work hard at achieving being the best. Being committed to your marriage vows is doing everything possible to keep the bond of peace.
There will always be differences but the ability to handle our differences in a mature way is love.
A good understanding of what is expected of you as a married couple is very important. You must have a personal vision for your marriage.
It shows you are 100% committed to your spouse when you give him/her your undivided support. Some are giving their support but it is not full support.

Some are committed and in the marriage as long as their feathers are not rough and everything is fine.
Job’s wife was not totally committed. Our commitment is revealed more during the hard times. I believe that is why the marriage vows says ‘ ….for better for worse, for richer for poorer’ that is 100% commitment.
Ruth is a good example of a wife that is committed. Her commitment was even unto death and way after death.
Ask yourself are you like Ruth or Jobs wife?
In these days when husbands and wives commitment to each other are just on border line. We ask God to give us Christian homes and make us Christ like husbands and wives, whose commitment is 100%

We all need help at some point or another. Needing help just shows that we are only humans and there is nothing to be ashamed of when we need help.
Some couples out of shame and not being sincere have sabotaged their marriage. In the physical, we have hospitals and Doctors to the sick. What of if the sick is ashamed and refuses to open up or go to the hospital? He simply die in his sickness.
Help is always available to whosoever will seek the necessary help when necessary.
In marriage too, we need help at different times for different reasons.
Your marriage may need help if these 5 signs are obvious in your marriage but of cause, it is not limited to these 5 things.

1. If the wife is always denying her husband sex either to punish him or get her way. The need for sex in man is so enormous that this need has to be met. A man is satisfied and optimal condition when he has regular Jerusalem trips.
Yes, the wife could have a lot of reasons why they deny them but please this has to be talked about. Seek help through books or counselor. Don’t keep quiet, as this could be detrimental to your marriage.
2. When there is regular misunderstanding and strife that lingers. Find the source of your constant quarrels and prayerfully get to the root of it. Obviously, you will marry someone opposite of you. Your spouse will be of a different temperament to you. Try and accommodate your spouse excess while you grow up to maturity together.

The Bible says husbands enjoy the wife of their youth. This means enjoying yourself while you have strength as a young couple. Don’t be too serious at home and learn to live together as best friends. Don’t allow the pressure of finances, raising children, in-laws, and others to destabilize your togetherness.
Your spring water is for you and you only, not to be passed around among strangers. Bless your fresh-flowing fountain! Enjoy the wife you married as a young man! Lovely as an angel, beautiful as a rose — don’t ever quit taking delight in her body. Never take her love for granted! Why would you trade enduring intimacies for cheap thrills with a whore? for dalliance with a promiscuous stranger?

Between the two of you, one person will be more playful. Let the playful one take the initiative and the other follows suit.
The Holy Spirit knows what He’s saying when He says enjoy the wife of your youth. Be deliberate in making each other happy. Do not make others outside your home or marriage happy at the expense of your spouse.

Every once in a while, every husband and wife needs these three things. It basically takes care of most of the needs we have.
My husband is very busy and I’m sometimes amazed at how he joggles many things together. The mere fact that he never went to any computer school nor had any formal training and he knows so much keeps me amazed.
He designs the KHC website and other sites and manages all our outfit online including our podcasts. Sometimes, he has to research all by himself for days and sometimes burn the night candle to get things done.
He also has a church to take care of, bills to pay and a family to look after. He also has stay at the cutting edge of ministry which involves a lot of prayers and studying God’s word.
As his wife, I have to provide the most conducive environment for him to function at an ultimate level, avoid strife and be very understanding.

I most confess here, I do fall short of my responsibilities at times, but thank God for His Spirit and Grace that always helps me.
My husband has to teach me and tell me how important my support is to him.
I also feel we are meant to create the support system our spouses need. Husbands to wives and wives to husbands, we all need these support systems if not, the purpose of marriage is defeated.
Tomorrow, I would share just three of these support we can give each other at any given time.
