September To Remember – Day 14
1. Go ahead and thank God for the fourteenth day of the fast.
2. Begin to pray that this season of waiting causes you to break out; that your light shines forth.
3. Pray that the Life of God courses through your body, causing your health to be stable.
4. Cry out to God concerning that sin/weakness that you are struggling with; let His fire burn it away.
5. Begin to declare that you rise out of every obscurity.
6. Pray to God to birth compassion in your soul, and make you a practising giver.
7. Begin to bind every spirit working at keeping you and your family in obscure darkness.
8. Begin to ask God to help you speak right words; bind every lying spirit.
9. Lift up your voice and raise your request to God.
10. Go ahead and begin to thank the Lord.

September To Remember – Day 14
My light is breaking forth. I no longer grope in darkness. There is illumination on my path. There is light to my feet. I cannot be confused. I do not draw a blank. I know what to do. I have direction.
My health is renewed. My body, rejuvenated. My bones and marrows come alive. My organs begin to function well. Every anomaly in my body is corrected. Every disease in my body gives way in the name of Jesus.
As I wait on the Lord, He hears my voice. As I call, He answers. As I cry, He speaks to reassure me.

Prayer Points
September To Remember – Day 11
1. Go ahead and thank God for the eleventh day of the fast.
2. Pray that God will give you the hearing ear and the seeing eye, to know His declarations over your life.
3. Pray that there will be a ‘suddenly’ miracle in your life; where God shows/manifests His words over your life.
4. Begin to declare your sudden deliverance from every captivity of the devil, no matter how long it has been there or how severe you think it is.
5. Declare that only the counsel of the LORD stands in your life; cancel every negative word that has been spoken over you by authority figures.
6. Pray that the LORD births a new beginning in those areas you may have lost vitality in.
7. Pray that God’s counsel of healing and good health is made manifest in your body.
8. Begin to activate the covenant of protection over your parents, siblings, loved ones, etc.
9. Lift up your voice and pray concerning the desires of your heart for this month of fasting and prayer
10. Go ahead and begin to thank the Lord.

September To Remember – Day 11
In the name of Jesus, every promise of God concerning my life is coming to pass. I see the manifestation of every word of prophecy. I war a good warfare with every positive declaration over my life. I refuse to settle for less. Today, I receive sudden miracles. Today, I receive sudden alerts. Today, I receive sudden testimonies. The blessings of God are coming unto me suddenly. I receive sudden deliverance from addictions and all plans of the devil. The counsel of the Lord over my relationship/marriage will stand. The word of the Lord concerning my finances will be fulfilled in Jesus name

September To Remember – Day 10
1. Go ahead and thank God for the tenth day of the fast.
2. Begin to pray to God to open up the heavens for you.
3. Pray that God will pour out His buckets of goodness over you and your family, that there won’t be room enough.
4. Begin to command the earth to loosen up for your sake, and bring forth salvation into every aspect of your life.
5. Pray that streams of refreshing will burst forth out of the dry places of your life.
6. Pray that the Spirit of God will come upon you and overshadow you so that you can birth all the promises that God has given you.
7. Pray that as you wait upon the LORD this season, He will send down plenty of rain – showers of blessing – and make you a blessing.
8. Pray to God to bring you into the day of His blessings – where wine, milk, and water flow from everything you touch.
9. Begin to pray about your personal requests for this season of fasting and prayer.

September To Remember – Day 10
I declare, my heavens are opened. I will no longer operate under closed heavens. The rain of God’s blessing is pouring on me. Buckets of God’s goodness are poured on me.
The earth loosens up for my sake. Whatever I put in the ground, is growing. Nothing dies in my hands. My children receive the blessing. My relationship/marriage receive the blessing. My job, business, career, and the works of my hands receive the blessing. Everywhere I turn to today, I see the blessings. So shall it be in Jesus name, Amen.

But the days will come, when the bridegroom shall be taken away from them, and then shall they fast in those days. No man also seweth a piece of new cloth on an old garment: else the new piece that filled it up taketh away from the old, and the rent is made worse. And no man putteth new wine into old bottles: else the new wine doth burst the bottles, and the wine is spilled, and the bottles will be marred: but new wine must be put into new bottles (Mark 2:19-22 KJV)
In the scriptures, there are different kinds of fast. There is the regular fast where you don’t eat anything but can drink water or juice. Then there is the partial fast. This is omitting specific meals or refraining from specific types of food. Daniel had this type of fast at a time.
Then there is the full fast or dry fast wherein you completely refrain from both food and water for short periods of time. Paul had this type of fast. Esther called for this type of fast as well.
And then there could be a sexual fast as described in 1Cor 7. A fast could be as a result of personal instruction from God or proclaimed by the local assembly.
Fasting is powerful and Jesus mentioned it as one of the three things that can turn a life around in Matthew Chapter 6. Praying, Fasting, and Giving! No demonic power anywhere can withstand those three!
In Matthew 6:3, Jesus said ‘But when thou doest alms…,’ (or when you give)
In Matthew 6:6, Jesus said ‘But thou, when thou prayest…’
In Matthew 6:16, Jesus said ‘Moreover when ye fast…’
But the question I really want to address this morning is, apart from a generally proclaimed fast, when do I fast personally? When do I know that there is a need for me to fast?
The disciples of Jesus were reported to him, that they have not been fasting. And Jesus replied with a powerful and insightful statement in verse 20.
But the days will come, when the bridegroom shall be taken away from them, and then shall they fast in those days.
Jesus Christ is saying when you come to some seasons in your life, and it as though the bridegroom has been taken away from you, then shall you fast!
In those times in your life, when things seem not to be working again, then shall you fast.
In those times of your life, when you pray, and your prayer seems to bounce back, and it looks as though the bridegroom has gone on honeymoon, then shall you fast.
In those seasons of your life, when it looks like the bridegroom has been taken away, and in reality, it actually is like there is no groom for you while you are growing older, then shall you fast.
In those times of life, when you know you ought to pray and yet your mouth will not open in prayer, and Jesus Christ seems far away, then shall you fast.
In those times of your life, when every relationship breaks, and none is ever looking good, then shall you fast.
In those times of your life, when three or four weddings that looked promising were cancelled, and the groom cannot be found, then shall you fast.
Jesus went further to say in verses 21 and 22
No man also seweth a piece of new cloth on an old garment: else the new piece that filled it up taketh away from the old, and the rent is made worse. And no man putteth new wine into old bottles: else the new wine doth burst the bottles, and the wine is spilled, and the bottles will be marred: but new wine must be put into new bottles (Mark 2:19-22 KJV)
That is, a new season requires a new approach. You cannot glide into your destiny on the wings of old strength. You need to make power available in the place of fasting and prayer. A new piece of cloth must not go on an old garment, or else there will be complications. You cannot import an old unbelieving boyfriend into your new life. New wine must go into a new bottle!
The grace of God over your life must not be spilled on the platform of sentiments. You cannot continue with sexual promiscuity in your newfound life with Christ.
Fasting will not give you more power to overcome the issues, it will open your eyes to see, know and understand the counsel of God for that particular season.
Fasting will not bribe God in any way, it will only get your soul humbled and in the right frame to understand and follow God’s counsel. It will break yokes and rejuvenate you!
Are you in a season of your life, when it looks like Jesus Christ has been taken away from you and nothing seems to be working? Then shall you fast….and pray…with God’s word!
