How To Handle Overwhelming Situations In Marriage
Reading Time: 2 minutesHow To Handle Overwhelming Situations In Marriage
1. Focus on the blessings of being married
Just because you have a headache is not enough reason you should wish your head were cut off. We all know that the benefits of having a head sitting on your neck far outweigh having a headache.
2. Take time out when you notice a burnout
A burnout could mean that you are driving yourself hard too much and need to slow down a bit. Taking time to relax could be as often as daily and as simple as laying down on your bed undisturbed with your favorite music, doing something you love or simply, having thanksgiving. You will surely feel refreshed, especially in your marriage.
3. Enjoy your own spouse and children
Learn to enjoy yourself with your family and you will see the feeling of being overwhelmed will go. Learn to laugh and play, and your joy will return. You will find your strength renewed and find new reasons to love again.
4. Thanksgiving
It is high time we know that thanksgiving brings God’s presence. We make warfare with our thanks. Thanksgiving opens doors to the heavenlies.
Depressive feelings are often entering point or invitation to demonic operations that are responsible for draining our strength.
The Bible actually put it like this, ‘The joy of the Lord is our strength’.
I hope this has been helpful.
God bless your marriage!
