Spending Your Time Wisely As Couples

Spending Your Time Wisely As Couples

Reading Time: 2 minutes

Time is everything. It can be spent or invested. Everyone has the same twenty-four hours a day

The Bible teaches us that there is a time for everything, that is, the right time to do certain things. Eccl 3:1-11

For everything there is a season, and a time for every matter under heaven:  – Eccl 3:1 [ESV]

If there is a right time for things to be done, that means there is also a wrong time and a not too right time.

Knowing the right time to do things requires wisdom. We all need wisdom in our lives; wisdom as married couples, wisdom as a husband, wife, father, or mother, wisdom in all our endeavors.

The Bible teaches us to redeem the time. Make your time count this year. Use time wisely.

Walk in wisdom toward them that are without, redeeming the time. – Col 4:5

Redeeming the time, because the days are evil – Eph 5:16

Champions are known for their daily routines. Ask yourself, what is my routine like? What time do you wake up? What is your day like? Do you do needless things? Do you interject your day with movies, chatting away, viewing Instagram posts, and the likes?

Did you miss out on yesterday’s devotional, we’ve got you covered kindly go HERE. For KHC video Devotionals kindly go HERE

All these things could be beneficial if you channel them to the right course. Are they making you financially free, are they an investment into the future?

You have to check your daily routine. Is God a vital part of it? Do you spend time worshipping God? Do you listen to hear from him?

You cannot spend all your time watching movies and expect to hear from Him. Yet your success in life hinges on it.

I will instruct thee and teach thee in the way which thou shalt go: I will guide thee with mine eye. – Psa 32:8

God wants to instruct us, but are you spending time with Him? He wants to teach you the way to go, are you spending time in His classroom.

Plan your time wisely. Whatever you use your time for, the harvest of it is coming

As a husband or wife, invest in your marriage, family, and children. When the harvest comes, you will not regret it.

God bless your marriage

I will spend my time wisely.

How To Be The Light of The World

How To Be The Light of The World

Reading Time: < 1 minute

Light is synonymous with something good, beauty, clarity, understanding and so much more. Little children, Jesus calls us his friends, the Light of the world.

See what the Bible says in

“You are the light of the world—like a city on a hilltop that cannot be hidden. – Matthew 5:14 (NLT)

Another translation says;

“Your lives light up the world. For how can you hide a city that stands on a hilltop? – Matthew 5:14 (TPT)

This means first of all, that you and I are an important part of the world. We play a very significant role. Without us, something vital will be missing on earth.

You, dear child, have to know this and live in the reality of what God calls you. You are a solution bearer!

Notice how switching on the light bulb in a dark room makes all the difference.

God wants you to shine your light in school, at home, on the playground with your friends, around elders and everywhere you find yourself.

How do you shine your light as a child of God?

1. By praying for your parents

2. By praying for the sick to receive healing

3. By obeying the 10 commandments

4. By trusting the Holy Spirit to help you all the time

5. By showing love to everyone around you.

May God bless you more as you deploy your gifts in the service of God, Amen.

Prayer:
Lord, help me to shine my light across the globe.

Action point:
Do the points listed above

Declaration:
I will shine my light

When God Whistles and Wedding Has No Choice

When God Whistles and Wedding Has No Choice

Reading Time: 2 minutes

God is blowing the whistle!

I’ll whistle and they’ll all come running. I’ve set them free—oh, how they’ll flourish! – Zechariah 10:8 (MSG)

Yes, God will whistle and that spouse will come running!
God will whistle and set you free from all oppression!
God will whistle and you will flourish in all you lay your hands to do.

But you see, there are many uses of the whistle!

In a football game, the whistle is put to many uses.

The whistle is used to start play, 1st or 2nd half and after a goal, but it is also used to stop play.

Other uses of the whistle are;

1. for a free kick or penalty kick
2. if a match is suspended or abandoned
3. when a period of play has ended due to the expiration of time

Take a look at this scripture before we look at the different scenarios.

You blow the whistle on godless nations; you throw dirty players out of the game, wipe their names right off the roster. – Psalms 9:5 (MSG)

God is blowing the whistle on every godless entity harassing your destiny! God is throwing all dirty players away from your life.  God is wiping off names of deceivers, froward men, liars, strange women off the roster of your destiny! No more distractions for you!

Let’s look at the scenarios when a whistle can be used

1. For a free kick or penalty kick

For every pretentious lover who is planning to commit fouls in your life, God is blowing the whistle on them.

No more will you be cheated on the field of play! God is the referee!

No longer will you attract time wasters, destiny killers, distraction entities, and wicked men.

Your marital life will no longer be a field of play with countless fouls from energy-sapping players who have no intentions of walking down the aisle.

Can I hear an amen in the comment section?

To be continued tomorrow…

CONFESSION FOR THE DAY
I will not miss it in marriage

PRAYER FOR THE DAY
Oh Lord, blow the whistle over every pretentious lover who is planning to commit fouls in my life.

THOUGHT FOR THE DAY
Zechariah 10:8 [KJV]I will hiss for them, and gather them; for I have redeemed them: and they shall increase as they have increased.

ACTION PLAN FOR THE DAY
Rest on God

Practical Ways To Experiencing Peace In Marriage

Practical Ways To Experiencing Peace In Marriage

Reading Time: 2 minutes

Experiencing peace in marriage is priceless. You don’t want to know what some other couples experience when they have no peace.

Peace is our birthright as believers in Christ. It is part of the things Jesus bequeathed us with. The peace He gave us is all-round peace. Not some peace in the workplace and crisis at home with the children and lack of peace in your health. No, He died to give us all-round peace.

But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his stripes we are healed. – Isa 53:5

Jesus actually paid the price for us to experience peace. If you are not experiencing peace in any area of your life, the devil is cheating you out of what belongs to you.

Jesus already paid the price for your peace. He was chastised for you to experience peace. You are not just to hear about peace but experience it in your life and marriage.

Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you: not as the world giveth, give I unto you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid. – Joh 14:27

Did you miss out on yesterday’s devotional, we’ve got you covered kindly go HERE. For KHC video Devotionals kindly go HERE

We can claim the peace of Jesus. You can experience peace with your in-laws, peace with your money, peace in your neighborhood, all-round peace.

Let no man trouble me for I bear in my bodies the marks of the Lord Jesus Christ, Paul said.

Here are five ways to experience peace

1.  Know what Jesus has done for you by His shed blood on the cross.

2.  Learn of these truths and begin to appropriate them. You can’t afford to be lazy about it. You have to search scriptures diligently.

3. Begin to confess that which you discovered from scriptures

4. Begin to take practical steps to enjoy peace in every area of your life.

5. Be a person of peace. Avoid being quarrelsome. Stop being overly aggressive, hot-tempered. Avoid jumping to conclusions on matters.

God help us to experience all-round peace this year in Jesus name

God bless our marriage

CONFESSION FOR THE DAY
I experience all round peace in my marriage.

PRAYER FOR THE DAY
Pray against everything that wants to steal your peace

THOUGHT FOR THE DAY
Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you: not as the world giveth, give I unto you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid. – Joh 14:27
