This morning, I want to write about the types of husbands we have.
There are generally two major types of husbands:
a) Wicked Husbands
b) Godly Husbands
Everybody prays to marry a godly husband but what if you are already married and you suddenly discover you have a wicked husband?
There are several options for you to explore.
1. The foundation for a good family is salvation of one’s soul and living according to the principles of God. If your spouse is not born again, that is where to start from.
Encourage him to follow you to church and give his life to Jesus. Continue to pray for the salvation of his soul.
2. If he is already born again, and yet you notice some attributes of wickedness, look for a christian marriage counselor to talk with.
Alternatively, you can talk with a mentor who both of you respect. My wife and I do this for couples from time to time, and usually when both sides talk back and forth, biblical solutions are always proffered after a few hours of talking. It would now be left for the couple to be self disciplined and implement the wisdom offered.
Make sure you both have somebody over your marriage that you can talk with from time to time. This could also be your Pastor.
3. Buy good books and read. It will help your perspectives to be broadened and to know how to handle issues more.
4. Follow Kisses and Huggs Daily Devotional on this site daily. You will become familiar with principles that will help you as couples to live better and have a great marriage.

PRAYER FOR THE DAY In the name of Jesus, I receive Grace for my husband to mature in Christ and be all he can be for the glory of God. Amen.
THOUGHT FOR THE DAY Rom 12:2 Don’t become so well-adjusted to your culture that you fit into it without even thinking. Instead, fix your attention on God. You’ll be changed from the inside out. Readily recognize what he wants from you, and quickly respond to it. Unlike the culture around you, always dragging you down to its level of immaturity, God brings the best out of you, develops well-formed maturity in you.
ACTION PLAN FOR THE DAY Make sure you are comfortable with the character and personality of your husband. Prayerfully ask the Lord what to do next.
Jesus is the foundation. Be careful what materials you are building on His person. I will like you to make a decision this morning, break free from every lying devil. Sin is sin, no matter your office! Sin is always a reproach and that is the end of it!
Embrace God’s love this morning. Do not take his love for granted. Ask for genuine repentance. Go to your pastor or mentor and stay accountable. Then if you have to go on a retreat and fast and pray, please do.
Fill yourself afresh with God’s word and let it become life to you! I challenge you this morning. Clean up! Delete that number before you yourself are deleted from trhe face of the earth! Cancel that ungodly relationship.
Destroy those instruments of sin. Take charge of your life this morning and break free from all oppression!
The truth is that God still loves you. That is why you are still alive despite all. He loves you beyond your imagination. He is full of tender mercies over you! Accept His love and He will restore your soul. He will clean you up, heal you and restore your dignity.
I pray for you this morning, that every yoke and demonic influence over your life and destiny be broken in Jesus name! If you need someone to pray for you or lead you to Christ, feel free to pick up my number and give me a call. God will send help your way today in Jesus name. Your life will not be a waste. Your labour of love in God’s Kingdom will not be devoid of reward in Jesus name!

ACTION PLAN FOR THE DAY Become accountable today to someone your respect and value a lot.
3. Never Underrate The Enemy’s Attack On The Home And The Effectiveness Of Prayer.
Assumption is the lowest form of knowledge. Be a praying woman and don’t explain away all the issues, quarrels, strife, and other things that drive you apart from your husband.
Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.-2Corintians 2:11 (KJV)
After all, we don’t want to unwittingly give Satan an opening for yet more mischief-we’re not oblivious to his sly ways! -2Corintians 2:11 (MSG)
A great woman must learn how to pray. Learn to take everything to God. You can birth things in prayer and that is why you have a womb. I am not in any way exonerating men who are supposed to take the lead in prayers at home but don’t wait for him, especially where morning devotions are concerned. It has been discovered that wives usually push for morning prayers at home in families before the husbands take over.
4. Never Allow Emotional And Actual Affairs
This is one area that is guaranteed to ruin any family when dabbled into. Don’t be pressured in any way to cheat on your husband! I have counseled a few husbands who feel so cheated and bitter because their wives compromised, and it took God’s intervention to keep the family going.
The sin of adultery is not a once and for all sin, it unlocks several other demonic doors and brings with it serious heartaches. Be loyal to your husband. If you are under intense pressure, find someone you really trust to talk with because sin is perpetuated in the atmosphere of secrecy. The power of iniquity is broken when exposed!
I pray over your home that God’s peace will reign in Jesus name! I say to every storm raging over your family and home, ‘be still, in Jesus name! Over your home, God’s counsel will stand!

PRAYERS FOR THE DAY Pray that God will give you the wisdom to be a helpmeet indeed

ACTION PLAN FOR THE DAY Pray for your husband and children now.
There are signs to know if he will eventually marry you or not. If only you decide not to ignore the signs. God is not an author of confusion, He is our father! He will not leave you alone. He would always make his will known if you allow him.
1. Spiritual signs
If you are a child of God and you are filled with the Spirit of God, the first thing that will happen to you if you are involved with a wrong person (notice I did not write a bad person) is that you will lose your peace.
How will you know if you have lost your peace or God is not with you on that decision? How does God speak?
Now, God speak in several ways, but I will talk about how He speaks to us through the revelation of the Holy Spirit.
There are three ways.
a. In inward peace; it is like God is saying, “Yes, my son, go ahead, I trust you. The other side of inward peace is “A Check”
b. In inward witness; it is like God saying, Yes, my son, this is exactly what I want you to do. An inward witness is a little bit stronger than inward peace. The other side of Inner witness is a “A Bad Feeling.”
c. In inward voice; God grabs your attention and says “Yes, do this!’ It is the most specific because God specifically speaks to your heart through the Holy Spirit. The other side of inward voice is “Don’t Do It”
And let the peace (soul harmony which comes) from Christ rule (act as umpire continually) in your hearts [deciding and settling with finality all questions that arise in your minds, in that peaceful state] to which as [members of Christ’s] one body you were also called [to live]. And be thankful (appreciative), [giving praise to God always]. (Col 3:15 AMP)
Here is another translation
The peace that Christ gives is to guide you in the decisions you make; for it is to this peace that God has called you together in the one body. And be thankful. (Col 3:15 GNB)
When you read Acts 16:6-9, you will see examples of these leading.
What if you don’t ever bear God? Do a little bit of fasting and prayer. It will help you. Fasting puts down the outward man while prayer builds up the inward man. The result is that you hear God clearly.
Also, you need to get filled with the Holy Spirit with evidence of speaking in tongues! God is ever willing to baptize you with the Holy Spirit.

Most importantly, a blessed man or woman can cast out demons. He or she can take charge of the spiritual milieu of the house. That is what you should go for.
Not a man or woman that will drag you to a herbalist’s house in your hour of need.
You need a blessed man or woman that can speak in tongues! Not just hot legs, but hot legs plus hot heart for God. That is what you need.
What is the purpose of marrying a beautiful lady with an empty head?

Hey, ladies, KHC daughters, listen to me, you need a man that can intreat the Lord for you!
Further down in the chapter we are studying, that was what Isaac did for his wife!
And Isaac intreated the LORD for his wife, because she was barren: and the LORD was intreated of him, and Rebekah his wife conceived. – Genesis 25:21 (KJV)
Message Translation says Isaac prayed hard. You need a man/woman that can pray hard when you are down!
Two weeks before I got married, my wife collapsed and was hospitalized. It was an attack. My in laws did not know what to do. She was on drip for three days and had not opened her eyes.
When they told me over the qphone (those old NITEL boxes), I traveled to Abeokuta where she was, and discharged her. I put a stop to the attacks and asked that the life of God flow int her. She opened her eyes, sat up and asked for food. Even the doctor was amazed at the power of God.
That did not happen because I was a Pastor, it happened because I could intreat the Lord. That is part of the blessing!

May heaven assist you to find that blessed special man or woman!

I call your relationship blessed. I call your courtship blessed. I call your marriage blessed. I call your family blessed. I call your home blessed. I call your children blessed.
Now, I pray for you, by the unction on me this morning as I write, everything that looks like a curse, everything that is a departure from God’s promises over you and yours, is removed in Jesus name!
I have been commanded to bless, so with God’s authority over my life and ministry, this morning, I call you blessed!
Go out today declaring that you are blessed and see what the Lord will do today and in the next seven days!
