What we see as massive issues and problems, God is just laughing at them and you know what, He wants you to laugh along!
Why should you laugh? Because your victory is guaranteed.

He that sits in heaven shall laugh and who is that? God! But then that’s not the end. Look at this scripture:
And hath raised us up together, and MADE US SIT TOGETHER IN heavenly places in Christ Jesus:
Eph 2:6 (KJV)
So what do we do? We laugh as well.
Rather than get bothered about being still single or experiencing delay, get rejoicing!
Every time you laugh about something, you are actually laughing about something! Because it’s the joy of the Holy Ghost, there are things He sees you cannot see…so you simply cooperate with His joy and flow with it!
No more sadness. No more depression! No more despondency!
Keep laughing and you will soon really laugh!

Did you feel lifted after watching? I bet you did! You see, you can’t allow anything or anybody or the devil to ever steal, tinker or tamper with your joy!
No wonder the Bible says the joy of the Lord is your strength!
Then he said unto them, Go your way, eat the fat, and drink the sweet, and send portions unto them for whom nothing is prepared: for this day is holy unto our Lord: neither be ye sorry; FOR THE JOY OF THE LORD IS YOUR STRENGTH.

That is powerful.

Take a look at the scripture:
Therefore with joy shall ye draw water out of the wells of salvation.
Isa 12:3 (KJV)
The word for salvation in the original Hebrew means:
a) welfare, prosperity b) deliverance c) salvation (by God) d) victory
So it takes joy to draw all of these out? Including welfare! Victory in relationship and marriage! You see why everything you are looking for and trusting God for is in your joy?
Keep your joy on! Don’t let anything steal your joy! No wonder the devil seeks to attack our joy all the time! He knows that once we lose our joy, we lose a lot of things!
Decide to keep your joy intact, in all situations, at all times, all day and you will surely have the victory!

Today’s topic is very important, And I want you to give it rapt attention, “Don’t let joy wither from your marriage”. I know youare a perfectionist. You like to fix everything and everybody. You don’t like things out of order. You feel the compulsion to fix your spouse. They have to be in a certain way. Eat in a certain way, laugh a certain way, or talk in a certain way. Oga, free yourself! You are not the Holy Ghost. You cannot change anybody so don’t kill yourself trying.
You are sensitive. If things don’t go the way you want, your day or week is spoilt.
It is good to demand high standards from our spouse and children lest we become mediocre. We have to understand that we can only influence people to change.
Most of our frustrations in marriage is because we are trying too hard to fix our spouse. Don’t forget we are only privileged to be married to our spouse. They are as much individuals just as we are. They have their own opinions, view points, ideologies and standards.
Even your babies are individuals and must be treated with respect. We should respect the fact that they are separate entities. How much more should you respect your spouse!
If you become too forcy about trying to have things done your way, first you won’t get the best of your spouse. They will be living under your shadow, not expressing their individuality. Things will be boring around you. You want to force people to be and do exactly like you want?
Learn to be joyful. Be happy. Be someone with gladness all the time. Let your spouse be happy around you. Give room for expression of their individuality.
Don’t let joy wither from your home and marriage. Celebrate your wins. Celebrate small victories as though they are big wins and eventually the big wins will come.
Things dry up because you allow joy to dry up. Finances, testimonies, breakthrough are all a response to our joy.
The meat offering and the drink offering is cut off from the house of the Lord ; the priests, the Lord’s ministers, mourn. The field is wasted, the land mourneth; for the corn is wasted: the new wine is dried up, the oil languisheth. Be ye ashamed, O ye husbandmen; howl, O ye vinedressers, for the wheat and for the barley; because the harvest of the field is perished. The vine is dried up, and the fig tree languisheth; the pomegranate tree, the palm tree also, and the apple tree, even all the trees of the field, are withered: because joy is withered away from the sons of men. Joel 1:9 – 12 KJV
Things dry up when we allow joy to dry up. Let nothing steal your joy.
As couples, consciously and intentionally make room for joy. Learn being cheerful. Practise it. It is a command from God.
Rejoice in the Lord alway: and again I say, Rejoice. Philippians 4:4 KJV
God won’t ask us to do what He knows we can’t do. He asked us to rejoice. It is not a suggestion. It is not based on our situation. The word is the same under favorable and unfavourable situations.
Rejoice in your home. Rejoice in your marriage. Rejoice ever more.
We have to consciously respond to the joy in our spirit. That joy is in us. It is in our recreated human spirit.
But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, Meekness, temperance: against such there is no law. Galatians 5:22 – 23 KJV
As a wife, the tempo and atmosphere of the marriage and home depends largely on you. So maintain your joy. If the devil cannot steal your joy he can’t have your goods. He can’t have your marriage. Your marriage and home belongs to God.
Whatever you are trusting God for, rejoice, celebrate and be thankful, sing songs of joy.
All the days of the afflicted are evil: but he that is of a merry heart hath a continual feast. Proverbs 15:15 KJV

PRAYER FOR THE DAY Pray for the spirit of joy in your home.
THOUGHT FOR THE DAY Rejoice in the Lord alway: and again I say, Rejoice. Philippians 4:4 KJV
You need the joy of the LORD. Constant joy is one of the things you have when you are a child of God. You know that things will be fine because God is in control. He is in control because He knows all things and how to make things happen or not happen.
Your worries shouldn’t be so great that you won’t be joyful. Why? Because, God will take care of you. No matter what you are facing, anywhere or anytime. If someone is making fun of you all the time at school, God knows how to deal with such people on your behalf. Don’t get sad or worried. Let the joy of the LORD be your strength. Just pray with verses such as the ones below:
The Lord is my strength and song. And He has become my salvation (Psalm 18:14 AMP).
Behold, God, my salvation! I will trust and not be afraid, For the Lord God is my strength and song’ Yes, He has become my salvation.” Isaiah 12:2 AMP.
Use them to build your trust in God always. When worries come your way and it seems like there is no hope of a solution or that help isn’t coming, speak these verses. Say them over and over and as much as you need to till you feel the joy of God inside of you… till the joy of the LORD wells up inside you
Never let anyone or anything steal your joy. It is your God-given right. Jesus died on the cross for you so that your joy may be complete.
You should be joyful always because your joy comes from God. He alone gives joy like no one or anything in this world can.
May the Lord keep blessing you with His joy. Amen.
Prayer: Father in heaven, I ask that your joy will never leave me. Teach me how to keep it always inside of me. In Jesus’ name, amen.

Marriage is often time associated with wine, because our union with our spouse is supposed to bring joy to us.
The marriage ceremony itself is a joyous occasion with the bride and groom looking their best. Everyone is happy, lots of food to eat and drinks, music, dancing and the exuberance of finding the love of your life.
All these sum up to give joy and excitement. Both for the new couples, the parents, families, the couples’ friends and all.
But a few years down the lane we see that joy almost vanished from the face of the once over joyed couple. Why is this?
We may have differentreason why, but I want to point to us that the devil is the real culprit here.
The thief comes only in order to steal and kill and destroy. I came that they may have and enjoy life, and have it in abundance (to the full, till it overflows). John 10:10 AMPC
The above scripture identifies the devil as a thief who come to steal if not stopped, graduates to kill and then finally to destroy. Bringing to total ruins, both what you desire and what you have laboured for. He destroys legacy of families and what they stand for.
The devil is the one that steals joy from marriages. He does this through several means and does it in whose ever marriage he is allowed to perform his three-fold agenda and mission.
Every believers’ marriage is precious and priceless. The devil hates anything joyous, good and glorious. He is attracted to it, to steal from it, kill and destroy it.
The devil is not just a nuisance, he is an enemy. That is the fact and the truth. You must always take the offensive against his onslaught.
The scripture in John 10:10 didn’t just say that the devil cometh to steal, kill and destroy. It concluded that ‘I am come that they might have or enjoy life and it more abundantly.
For every of the attempt of the devil to steal the joy of and in your marriage whether by misunderstanding, strife, unforgiveness, infidelity, sin of different types, anger, works of the flesh et cetera, Jesus also came.
He came once and for all to deal with the three-fold agenda of devil. Jesus is not only the answer to the problem, He is much more than that.
It is not your wife or your husband that is hurting you or cheating on you. Am I saying we should not take responsibility for our actions? No, I didn’t say that.
We take responsibility and deal with the root cause of the issue. The devil hides under the works of the flesh or sin to carry out his three-fold agenda.
Begin to insist on your joy, peace in marriage, prosperity and every good thing Jesus already paid for there.
Therefore with joy will you draw water from the wells of salvation. Isaiah 12:3 AMPC
Joy in your marriage is not just having a good behaviour. You need your joy to draw from the well of salvation. No wonder the devil is after your joy.
Without joy, you cannot draw. You can speak in tongues, fast and pray but you also need joy. When devil throws different issues at you, he is after your joy. Insist on your joy. Respond in joy to any attack on your marriage. It is an overflowing joy, the joy that is full of glory.
Laugh at the face of lack. You begin to draw wealth and prosperity from the well of salvation.
Let nothing steal your joy. Be joyful with the wife of your youth.
May God grant us more understanding.
