Why Can’t I Get Someone To Love Me? Before anybody can love you, believe me, you have to love yourself.
Yes, love yourself!
The most Herculean task anybody can embark on is to start loving persons who do not love themselves.
Oh, what a frustrating journey!
The junctions and stops of that pathway is laced with depression, quarrels, several blue days, and emotional blackmails. That is just to mention a few.
Depression will be constant because the person will be most unhappy, always falling into comparison traps and never appreciating himself or herself.
2Co 10:12 (KJV) For we dare not make ourselves of the number, or compare ourselves with some that commend themselves: but they measuring themselves by themselves, and comparing themselves among themselves, are not wise.
Why Can’t I Get Someone To Love Me?
Constant quarrels will percolate the relationship because the other lover will be mostly confused as to why unhappiness clouds the relationship. It is a truism that men are confused when their lover is unexcited about them.
No energy, no passion, no excitement, no anticipation, just going through the motions! It is noteworthy that a relationship can be like that and yet filled with pre-marital sex! They would think sex would solve the problem but it would actually add to the confusion.
Several blue days because the devil will plow such a mind, make negative suggestions, plant assumptions, dampen the little morale left and fill the mind with condemnation darts. The presence of such a person is an effulgence of negative vibes!
Emotional blackmails because such a person is good at excuses, always explaining why things went that way, blaming others for his woes, and making his or her lover take the blame for the failures.
The beginning of solving this issue is to resolve the identity crisis, take a journey into God’s word to discover what God says about you, start refusing negative thoughts and suggestions from the devil, and start walking in the Spirit. Walking in the Spirit means listening to hear God and following His direction and wisdom!
Why Can’t I Get Someone To Love Me? One thing you can also do immediately is to saturate your life with the truth of God’s word. Light will always dispel the darkness!
Lastly, be truthful with yourself and stop living in denial. Nobody is able to deal with any situation while still in denial. Confrontation is part of the process of repentance!

THOUGHT FOR THE DAY 2Co 10:12 (TPT) Of course, we wouldn’t dare to put ourselves in the same class or compare ourselves with those who rate themselves so highly. They compare themselves to one another and make up their own standards to measure themselves by, and then they judge themselves by their own standards. What self-delusion!
Real Love Or Social Media Illusions? I will be fifty this years old this year, and I tell you, a lot has taken place in the last few decades!
My wife and I were campus sweethearts, falling in love while in school and getting married while she was serving!
Things have changed rapidly over the years. They changed so fast and everybody in my generation witnessed the unveiling of another era. As a matter of fact, some people are still caught in the analog years as their brains refused to cooperate with the present realities.
I recall with nostalgia, how there were no smart phones, there was no Facebook, no Instagram, as a matter of fact there was no internet while I was in courtship with my wife.
Let me make it worse, there were no emails. The first time I heard the word, “e-mail” I had already graduated from the University and the fellow who told me wanted to charge me three thousand to create email for me! I gladly declined. I was not about to pay for something I couldn’t fathom!
Real Love Or Social Media Illusions? The present day singles are beleaguered with Social Media life and the pressure is intense.
From IG to TikTok, it’s a race to be relevant, to be an influencer and to make money!
Filled with all manner of sexually appealing content, the extent of unreal life can be overwhelming.
However, you are not going to live a social media life, you are not going to have a TikTok wife, and YouTube children. You are going to have a real human being as spouse and the reality goes beyond the world of social media. There is a difference between Real Love Or Social Media Illusions?
Take a look at the scripture: Mat 6:2 (MSG) “When you do something for someone else, don’t call attention to yourself. You’ve seen them in action, I’m sure—’playactors’ I call them—treating prayer meeting and street corner alike as a stage, acting compassionate as long as someone is watching, playing to the crowds. They get applause, true, but that’s all they get.
Every time you seek attention and “likes” on social media as against pleasing God, you already got your reward for all you do! Every time you do stuffs for the sake of being noticed, you are defeating the original purpose.
It is important to take your root downward in God’s word, be an authentic person and be spiritual in your dealings with God and man!
Scrolling through a payer app, is not prayer, listening to a YouTube worship is not practicing God’s presence, and so on and so forth!
Learn to drop the phones for a while and be spiritually authentic! Connect with God. When the chips are down, TikTok or IG would be unable to cast out a demon!

There are couples that are sitting on a keg of powder
As singles and married couples, you are to deliberately work things out in your relationship or marriage and with the help of the Holy Spirit.
Here is what the scripture says:
Wherefore, my beloved, as ye have always obeyed, not as in my presence only, but now much more in my absence, work out your own salvation with fear and trembling. (Philippians 2:12 KJV)
In a relationship and or marriage, you are to work things out. A relationship or courtship does not lead to marriage automatically. You are to work things out in your disposition, attitude, and reactions.
A marriage does not just succeed; you are to work things out between yourselves.
Now there are some couple combinations that are sure to crack along the way. When you find yourself in these spots, you need to seek help prayerfully and with a lot of wisdom to address the lurking issues. Here are those combinations:
1. Unbelieving Lovers
Two people who are unbelievers may love themselves, may be committed to each other, but when the storms of life come, they will fight their battles alone and you know, some of those battles can be very fierce. They will not have God’s support since they don’t have a relationship with God. They will not have the benefit of sonship and it can be very intense!
They need to connect with God!
Do not fall in love with an unbeliever! The consequences may be debilitating.
Who will they consult in the day of trouble? They will try herbalists and the occult which would plunge them further into the abyss.
Their options are many but shallow. God is the unfathomable one in whom all possibilities lie. He is the merciful God that shields, protect, directs, instructs, heals, and does so many things. A life, marriage, and home devoid of God will dissipate into nothingness in no time.
