3. Lord, let the eyes of every member of SGN be enlightened in Jesus name
Eph 1:18 KJV the eyes of your understanding being enlightened; that ye may know what is the hope of his calling, and what the riches of the glory of his inheritance in the saints,
4. Father, in the name of Jesus, we decree divine lifting and promotions for every member of SGN
Psalm 75: 6-7 For promotion cometh neither from the east, nor from the west, Nor from the south. But God is the judge: He putteth down one, and setteth up another.
5. Father, let our love for You and your word be ever increasing in our hearts in Jesus name
John 14:21 KJV He that hath my commandments, and keepeth them, he it is that loveth me: and he that loveth me shall be loved of my Father, and I will love him, and will manifest myself to him.
6. Father, we decree in the name of Jesus that your promise to us in SGN this year, to pursue, overtake and recover all be fulfilled
1 Samuel 30:8 KJV And David enquired at the LORD, saying, Shall I pursue after this troop? shall I overtake them? And he answered him, Pursue: for thou shalt surely overtake them, and without fail recover all.
7. Father, we decree, our faith is ever increasing and we overcome every challenges in Jesus name
I John 5:4 KJV For whatsoever is born of God overcometh the world: and this is the victory that overcometh the world, even our faith.

Confession
I boldly declare over us in SGN that we are men and women of faith. We have the God kind of faith. We win and overcome by faith. We experience victory in life by faith. There is divine liftings for us. The eyes of our understanding is flooded with light. We love and serve God. We fear the Lord and does His will in Jesus name.
I want a dad in the real sense of it. I want a dad whose confidence, leadership, courage, and examples inspire me.
I want a dad who will not usher my budding destiny into smoking and drinking and clubbing by transference of spirits. I want a dad who will pay the price just so for me to emerge. I want a dad I can bless and not regret in the years to come. I want a dad I can call my own, not an absentee dad.
I want a dad that will truly love my mum. I want a dad that will not mess up my inclinations and outlook by bringing in so many ‘mums’ into his bed. I want a dad that will not teach me to lie. I want a dad that will not make my malleable emotions and innocent tendencies gravitate into the world of sexual perversion.
I want a dad that prays for me, a dad that I am proud of, a dad I am close to and a dad I can discuss everything with! I want a dad that will not touch me (girl child) inappropriately. I want a dad who will not sexualize me. I want a dad who will teach me how to love my spouse when the time comes in a pragmatic way.

PRAYER FOR THE DAY oh Lord, flood the eyes of my mind with revelational light in Jesus name.

ACTION PLAN FOR THE DAY Check the man in you and sincerely take an inventory to see whether you are pleasing God or not.
The word obedience according to the dictionary means compliance to a command, prohibition or known law and rule of duty prescribed; the performance of what is required or enjoined by authority or the abstaining from what is prohibited, in compliance with the command or prohibition.
Taking a closer look at the life of Father Abraham, you will discover that it was obedience that made him great.
Genesis 12:1,4 (KJV) Now the LORD had said unto Abram, Get thee out of thy country, and from thy kindred, and from thy father’s house, unto a land that I will shew thee: So Abram departed, as the LORD had spoken unto him; and Lot went with him: and Abram was seventy and five years old when he departed out of Haran.
I will be sharing with us few reasons we should take obedience seriously.
1. Obedience proofs your love for God and to God. If you truly love God, you will obey Him.
2.Obedience is part of our worship. If we profess to love and serve God, then one of the ways we show it is our obedience.
3.Obedience is a test of our faith in God. This is true because faith in God means believing in his instructions and if we claim to have faith them we must obey.
4.Obedience is also a test of character, the ability to follow simple instruction is evidence of good character
5.Obedience helps us as God’s children to shine forth our light in this world
Obeying God is a vital part of our lives as believers, nothing can be compared to a life of obedience. I pray that you receive grace to be obedient all the time in Jesus name. Amen.

ACTION PLAN: Obey every instruction given to you today
Every day comes with its pressures. The environment, economy and so many other factors affect an average man in a general sense. This becomes even compounded when you refuse to do things and work by the principles of God the Father. The issues take on a spiritual dimension. When you have to face physical pressures and spiritual battles, you can get wearied quickly.
The LORD is gracious, and full of compassion; slow to anger, and of great mercy. The LORD is good to all: and his tender mercies are over all his works. – (Psa 145:8-9 KJV)
There are times you feel that you are not supposed to face issues and pressures because you are a child of God. But the question is, “did Jesus face pressure while he was on earth? Did everybody believe straightaway that He is the son of God? Did Paul face pressure? What about our spiritual fathers? Did they face any? What of the Patriarchs? Abraham, Moses, David? What of the prophets? You see, there will always be pressures!
However, Jesus made a beautiful statement when he said:
DO NOT let your hearts be troubled (distressed, agitated). You believe in and adhere to and trust in and rely on God; believe in and adhere to and trust in and rely also on Me. – Joh 14:1 AMP
Are you troubled to an extent you are wondering whether God has gone on holiday? You might be single, dating, or courting. There is one constant truth you must not forget. It is the nature of God.
The devil strives to present a wrong picture of who God is to us. He knows that once we have a blurred vision of who God is to us, then we will not be able to enjoy the limitless blessings that God has for us.
But, I have to let you know this; God’s love for you is ever unchanging. He loves you absolutely and resolutely.

ACTION PLANFOR THE DAY Make a list of all who have offended you in the past. Consciously let go and forgive them. It might not look easy, but do it all the same.
One of the meanings of ‘husband’ is ‘he that binds the house together’ He keeps the home, the wife, and children, and makes sure they are well taken care of.
Taking care of them is not just providing money for them, but being there for them, nurturing them, and connecting with them emotionally.
A father’s care is powerful. Most of the perverts and criminals we have in our society today are those that have been deprived of fatherly care.
Husbands, go all out in your love for your wives, exactly as Christ did for the church-a love marked by giving, not getting. – Ephesians 5:25 (MSG)
It is said that most husbands don’t understand the extent of grace and authority that God has bestowed on them as head of the house.
My Pastor once said jokingly but truthfully that the only husbandry we are taught in school is animal husbandry and that is why some husbands behave like animals at home.
There is no course in school titled ‘Marriage 101.’ Your school of marriage begins after collecting the certificate! Marriage is the only institution where you collect the certificate before the learning begins.
The Daddy comes home, and all the children plus the wife dive into different corners looking pious…
