These and more statements are what flies around these days. It is good to desire good things, but man will never be your source! It is important to understand this truth.
Men should be responsible, financially grounded with good jobs, but they would never become your Jehovah Jireh.
Asking a guy for a car before you can say yes is a wrong approach altogether. You must be sure you are in love with the person and not with the purse. You are getting married to the man, not his ATM.
Don’t ever make the mistake of using his purse to determine your decision to marry him or not. The contents of the purse are not always permanent, things often change with time.
In the heart of God, He knows the right person for you. The person He has for you is His best plan for your life.
Who He has for you will not turn you into a widow after five years. Who He has for you will not turn you into a punching bag after a while.
It is only God that can dig out a man who will still love you in another fifty years.
It is only God that knows the man who will gracefully combine the role of a responsible husband and a responsible father.

It is only God that knows a broke man who is on his way to being rich and a rich man who is on his way to being broke.
It is only God who knows the man that will provide an enabling environment for you to blossom, for your gifts to come alive and for your productivity to be at the maximum.
So, it becomes important to allow God’s purpose to supersede man’s purse.
The purpose is greater than the purse. A fat purse without a purpose in life will soon go empty.
Don’t be caught up with the mammon spirit, wherein, money is the decision fulcrum.
Let God have the final say. He only knows tomorrow. He only knows the eye that will not begin early to issue out pus!
Before you find out about his bank account, find out about God’s account of him. That is how to do it right.
I pray that God will give you direction indeed and that He will show you His plans for your life in Jesus name!

Begin to thank God for today.
Put Your Hand upon me LORD, and infuse me with the strength I need for today in the name of Jesus.
Every red sea standing in my way to entering my promised land dries up by the Hand of God in the name of Jesus.
The Hand of God intervenes in my relationship/marriage and settles me maritally in the name of Jesus.
The Alpha and Omega completes every project He has started in my life in the name of Jesus.
Today, I receive the anointing to triumph in the work of my hands in the name of Jesus.
I declare that the Hand of the LORD protects me, my family, and my career/business in the name of Jesus.
O LORD of the heavenly armies, rise and defend me from all my enemies in the name of Jesus.
Lift up Your majestic Voice O LORD, and mention my name to kings, causing them to favour me in Jesus’ Name.
Let’s begin to thank the LORD for answered prayers.
Confession For Today
Oil For Today – Day 147
This day, I see the mighty hand of God upon my life. The hand of God gives me speed. I have massive increase because God’s hand rests upon me. In my daily encounter, I see miracles everywhere. Obstacles are removed for my sake. Long standing issues are resolved. By the reason of God’s hand upon me, there is restoration. I receive the strength needed for today. I receive favor today. I receive direction today. So shall it be, in Jesus mighty name, Amen.
Oh my God, everything is set! The hips, the lips, and the tips! The right statistics are all there! And above all, she is spiritual! I have listened to her tongues, it is the tongues of an angel!
Well, the reality is that you cannot determine a person’s spirituality by how she speaks in tongues.
That was how a particular brother broke his relationship because all the “tongues” of the sister is “sanda, sanda, sanda, sanda…. the brother reasoned, when will she buy shoe?
So, he ended up marrying this other sister whose tongue is full of rich vowels and the tongues sound like a real language.
What he doesn’t know is that you cannot decode anything with physical ears. It is a mystery unto God, not for a brother to use as a measure of spirituality.
So, after marrying this sister whose tongues is all packaged, he found out that she was very lazy. She couldn’t cook any good food successfully. So, who is spiritual?

Her tongues are all packaged but she cannot cook or change pampers! She is not spiritual.
What the brother failed to realized is that there are sisters, sistos, sis and babes!
She is speaking in tongues while her mum is preparing food she would eat daily and setting table for her! She is not spiritual because she is not honoring her parents.
So, basically, beyond the hips, lips, and tips, there is more to it. Look deeper, beauty can be deceptive.
Thank God for hot legs, the heart nko? The heart should be hot as well!
Favour is deceitful, and beauty is vain: but a woman that feareth the LORD, she shall be praised.

The only way beauty would not be vain is if it is sitting on a heart that is after God, with a character that speaks of the kingdom lifestyle.
One of the contradictions of our generation is that a beautiful face can conveniently sit on an empty head.
Like a gold ring in a pig’s snout is a beautiful face on an empty head.

Charm can mislead and beauty soon fades. The woman to be admired and praised is the woman who lives in the Fear-of-GOD.

A lady who cannot say NO to iniquity, who spreads her legs at the sight of mammon, who compromises and forsakes the guide of her youth is not worth it.

Let the fire of the Holy Ghost burn away every ‘flesh’ that seeks to stop me from receiving of the bounties of God in the name of Jesus.
I receive strength to surmount every wall of opposition and I enter into my broad place in the name of Jesus.
The power to make wealth is activated in my life today in the name of Jesus.
I disconnect myself from negative spiritual atmospheres in the name of Jesus.
The power of God works for me today in my relationship/marriage.
Today, I receive the strength to finish 2021 strong in the name of Jesus.

Oil For Today – Day 146
Glory to God. I am strengthened from within. My strength is renewed as I wait on God. This day, I receive strength and power. In my areas of weakness, I receive strength. In my relationship/marriage, I receive strength. I receive the power to make wealth. I receive the power to eat wealth. The joy of the Lord is my strength. Glory to God. I will not lose my joy. I refuse to cooperate with the devil. I choose to praise God till my joy is full. So shall it be for me and all mine, in Jesus name, Amen.
Pastor Poju Oyemade on The Shepherd, The Wolf, The Sheep and The Hireling – The Four Characters That “Play” In The Church Space.
Jesus speaking about the shepherd also tells us about these four principal characters who make up the dynamics of a Church or really any business organization. He said it this way
Joh 10:11-13 (KJV) I am the good shepherd: the good shepherd giveth his life for the sheep. [12] But he that is an hireling, and not the shepherd, whose own the sheep are not, seeth the wolf coming, and leaveth the sheep, and fleeth: and the wolf catcheth them, and scattereth the sheep. [13] The hireling fleeth, because he is an hireling, and careth not for the sheep.
The Good Shepherd
We have the good shepherd whose role is the care giver to the sheep. His business is to make sure the sheep are adequately provided for conveying his responsibilities first and foremost through the words he speaks to them. He feeds them with words of knowledge and understanding and places them in folds for their protection.
His character trait is that he will defend the sheep with his life and reputation. He doesn’t flee at the sight of battle but will rise up to the challenge no matter what the wolf throws at him.
Jer 3:15-16 (KJV) And I will give you pastors according to mine heart, which shall feed you with knowledge and understanding. [16] And it shall come to pass, when ye be multiplied and increased in the land…
The Hireling
The next character is the hireling.
This is a person who gets involved for commercial reasons. He is not really dangerous to the sheep because he is not after them, he seeks not to break the church, in fact, he wants the church doing well but his motives are financial, period.
He is in it for what material gains can come to him. He has no concept of the vision of that place, he will not lay down his life for anyone and his “brand” is more important to him than the future of the kingdom of God. In making decisions money is his bottom line and not the will of God for the people.
The only problem you may have with him is to put your trust in him thinking he will ride with you through thick and thin.
Once he sees a threat and he thinks things may get rough here he jumps ship and looks for the next sheepfold where money can be made in peace.
Misplaced trust in a hireling may lead one to getting heart broken but outside that he is no real threat to the Church. In a business he works for money and will show no understanding of the vision that will make him go an extra mile for the client or customer out of love.
