We looked at this topic some times ago and I will be concluding on it today.
At every point in time, we are waiting on God for one thing or another. God’s promises to us form the basis for our believing and waiting on God.

Just as we know that there are various things we wait for, it is also important to know that the waiting period varies from individual to individual. It is usually most of the time depending on God’s Sovereignty and largely depends on the individual that is expecting a breakthrough from God also.

The Word of God remains constant, just as God remains constant.

There are things you should be doing while waiting. The waiting period is not a wasting period, neither do you wait without doing anything. You should be active while waiting. In fact, your waiting period is so important you want to cross all the ‘T’s’ and dot all the ‘I’s’. You want to make sure nothing disturbs your manifestation.

Let’s look at 4 things to do while waiting

1. Confess Gods word

God’s word is the basis for our believing, expecting, and thus, waiting. We have to be willing and ready to labour in the word.
Delve into God’s word to locate the word that promises you what you are looking for. If you can locate it in the word, you can have it in your world. Once you can locate it in the Bible and you are sure it was God who said it, you can go to bed. Not as in sleeping, but in confidence and assurance that it is done.
Then you begin to confess the promises because God’s word in your mouth is as powerful as God’s word in His mouth.
You confess this word until faith is born in your heart.

2. Pray

Depending on how intense and how desperately you want what you are believing God for, you have to engage God in prayer. Prayer becomes a legal transaction, where you remind God his word. You also take care of opposing powers, your flesh, and all that will not want to allow you to do your part of the deal. In the place of prayer, you also receive strength and staying power to keep on holding on until your expectations are granted.

3. Sow Seeds

While waiting and trusting God to fulfill His Word and promises, it is not out of place to sow seeds. In fact, seed sowing is one of the fundamental keys while waiting on God.

Gen 8:22 While the earth remaineth, seedtime and harvest, and cold and heat, and summer and winter, and day and night shall not cease.

You can sow a seed to represent what you are trusting God for. Also, you should name your seed. If you are trusting God for babies, name your seed for your babies. If it is a job, traveling out of the country, a house, or whatever, you can and should name your seed.

4. Prepare

This is the commensurate action you put in place for what you are believing God for. Begin to buy baby stuffs, begin to prepare for the job you have been praying and confessing for. Learn new skills for the job. Name your babies. Learn how to drive, open a bank account for the millions. Prepare and joyfully expect your miracle for what God has promised will surely come to pass.

God bless us as we trust and do these necessary actions or step to bring our expectations to pass.

I will prepare well during my waiting period. My waiting will not be in vain.

Lord, open my eyes to areas I need to focus on even as I wait.

Gen 8:22 While the earth remaineth, seedtime and harvest, and cold and heat, and summer and winter, and day and night shall not cease.

Put the above steps to action.
