Hello dear one, how are you today? I want to talk to you about pride as a character and what God thinks about it. You will learn how to detect pride.
What is Pride? Pride is a feeling of deep pleasure or satisfaction derived from achievements, qualities, of possessions that do one credit, being consciousness of one’s own dignity; it’s the quality of having an excessively high opinion of oneself. It simply is feeling like you are better than everyone else and treating them less.
Now let’s look at what God’s word says.
In a few places in the bible, God expresses his displeasure in prideful people; it is not one of the attributes of God’s children.
Take a look at what the bible says about Pride and why we as God’s children should not get involved in it.
But He gives more grace. Therefore He says: “God resists the proud, but gives grace to the humble.” – James 4:6 (NKJV)
God resists prideful people; he doesn’t want them around him. He isn’t pleased with people who exhibit this character. But everyone who is humble, God gives grace.
Don’t you want the grace of God? If you do, then being proud isn’t an option for you.
The fear of the Lord is to hate evil: pride, and arrogancy, and the evil way, and the froward mouth, do I hate. – Proverbs 8:13 (KJV)
Being prideful is regarded as an evil thing. It’s an attribute of someone who doesn’t fear God. As a child of God you ought to fear God and so you can’t afford to have pride.
When pride comes, then comes disgrace, but with humility comes wisdom. – Proverbs 11:2 (NIV)
Disgrace comes with having pride; it’s not God’s desire for his children to be disgraced. Pride is never the will of God for us as his children.

My life is marked with Grace. Every distraction that will not let me be a continual candidate of Grace is taken away from my life. The Grace of God that makes great is locating my life in Jesus mighty name. I will not end up in disgrace in my family, marriage,ministry, over my children in Jesus name. I remain under Grace at every giving time. Gods Grace is multiplied in my life

Begin to thank the LORD for today.
Pray for the grace of our LORD Jesus Christ to be with you everyday.
Pray that God sits upon you as a refiner, to purify your life.
Begin to declare that you find grace in the eyes of the LORD today.
Pray for your local assembly; that grace will lift them up.
Begin to declare that God favours you today.
Begin to pray for grace in your relationship/marriage.
Begin to cry ‘Grace, Grace’ to every mountain standing before you.
Go ahead and make your personal requests for the day known to the Lord.
Begin to thank the Lord for answered prayers.

In the name of Jesus, I find grace and favour. I receive mercy. I find grace to help in the time of need. I fly on the wings of grace. Grace will lift me up. Grace will carry me. I am distinguished by grace. The grace of God sets me apart. I do not abuse the grace and anointing of God over my life. In my relationship/marriage, grace speaks for me. I am a product of the grace of God. The grace of God over my life will not be in vain in Jesus name, amen.

He made the following pertinent points:
There is a place in God where nations will run to you.
In the character of God is consistency – God cannot lie, He cannot fail, He cannot change.
For everything, for greatness in life, there is a price to pay.
Practice is a price for winning
Time is the price for knowing God – Do you know God?
Prayer is the price for anointing.
Communication is the price for a good marriage
Fidelity is the price for the maximum blessing of marriage. It is important to be faithful to your spouse.
Righteous living is the price for exaltation
Honor is the price for access.
Discipline is the price for a life of no regret.
Seed is the price for harvest.
Your soul does not change, but it is constantly renewed. The price you have to pay is to contend with your body and mind.
A quickie is the longest you will ever face in your life, sex is not just for fun, this is because you are not just sleeping with the body, but with the spirit.
Delaying gratification is the price you will have to pay for fulfilling your glorious destiny. There are people that you will sleep with and will never be able to let go of because it is intercourse – interfering with every part of your body.
Sex is not bad but should be done within the confines of marriage. Why not wait?
What price are you ready to pay?
Will you wait? Pay the Price!
There is something you are here to solve, but will you be patient enough to follow through in disicpline?
The yoke of Jesus is the yoke of discipline. It’s not just giving your life to Jesus, there is a price to be paid – working out your salvation with fear and trembling.
Grace can lead you to hell if misappropriated. This is where grace can be dangerous. Grace is not a free will to sin, but to deliver us from sin.
