God’s Word As Panacea For Your Love Life Part 2

We looked at Number 1 yesterday! We will continue this morning!

Yesterday, we delved into the first one; let’s now continue our exploration.

2. God’s Word Will Ignite Hope for a Bright Future

Once your past is forgiven and forgotten, the divine words of God take on a new role—they birth hope within you. This hope becomes a crucial element, paving the way for the fullness of God’s blessings. Suddenly, a light shines in your heart, and hope springs to life, whispering that your story is far from over.

3. God’s Word Will Cultivate Unshakable Faith

Faith, a force capable of conquering the world, finds its roots in the hearing of God’s word. As you immerse yourself in the scriptures, faith gradually blossoms within you. Why is faith pivotal? It is the very essence that empowers you to triumph in God!

“For whatsoever is born of God overcometh the world: and this is the victory that overcometh the world, even our faith.” (1 John 5:4 KJV)

Let’s grasp the profoundness in the Message Translation:

“Every God–begotten person conquers the world’s ways. The conquering power that brings the world to its knees is our faith.” (1 John 5:4 Message)

Did you catch that? Faith, derived from God’s word, possesses the power to humble the world and its systems. What a glorious revelation!

4. Illuminating Your Path: God’s Word as a Guide for Singles

Life demands decisions, and decisions determine direction. A good life, however, hinges not just on decisions but on making the right ones. Our human frailty succumbs to divine guidance, especially in choosing a life partner.

“The Lord is my shepherd” transforms from a mere statement to a vibrant reality when we embrace His word as our compass.

5. God’s Word Will Establish Stability in Relationships and Marriages

Infusing God’s word into your heart enhances your discernment, distinguishing between the right and wrong individuals. Stability becomes a paramount need in relationships and marriages.

Success in marriage necessitates divine wisdom, steering clear of the common pitfalls of separations and divorce.

“And wisdom and knowledge shall be the stability of thy times, and strength of salvation: the fear of the Lord is his treasure.” (Isaiah 33:6 KJV)

In conclusion, the transformative power of God’s word extends beyond personal growth, offering hope, building unshakable faith, guiding life choices, and ensuring stability in relationships. Embrace these revelations, and watch as your life unfolds in the brilliance of divine wisdom.

To be continued tomorrow

How To Resist The Devil in Your Relationship – Part 2

How To Resist The Devil in Your Relationship – Part 2

Reading Time: 2 minutes

SINGLES – How To Resist The Devil

Continued from yesterday…

It goes on and on. The underlying thing I want you to see is that the moment God’s word is being challenged on any level; know that the devil is at work. The Holy Spirit will never come to counteract God’s word or debunk it; He only comes to expound it.

Never yield ground to the devil. Resist him as Jesus Christ did and he will flee.

Adam and Eve yielded to the devil and lost the fullness of God’s plan.

Jesus came to restore that loss, but he would have failed if he yielded to the devil when he was being tempted.

Every compromise you cooperate with alters something in the spirit realm. Make up your mind to resist the devil every day and consciously with the help of the Holy Spirit.

You cannot be yielding to your flesh and the devil every time if you want to go far! You cannot be saying some girl seduced you all the time while you sleep around recklessly. You cannot be saying a man forced you into compromise with his money.

The devil is not that powerful, he is as powerful as you allow him in your life. He needs your permission before he can trip, and trap you. Never allow him again. Don’t give him an inch!

Do it God’s way. There will no longer be delays in Jesus name. God will perfect everything in your relationship as you make up your mind to resist the devil.

Never forget this, if you can keep feeding your spirit with God’s word daily and consistently, and you believe His word, that same word of the Lord will keep you!

That is why we have created this online Club for you! Visit it daily and keep learning all you can. Keep encouraging each other! Stay on your toes and be alert.

I pray that you will have a higher revelation of the person and the principles of our Lord Jesus Christ! Victory is yours this year!

How To Make Your Relationship Work –Part 2

How To Make Your Relationship Work –Part 2

Reading Time: 2 minutes

SINGLES- How To Make Relationship Work

It is important as young people, and also as people trusting God for marital bliss to keep your focus on God. That is how things are going to work. Why focus on God and on God’s word?

Here it is:

Looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith; who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is set down at the right hand of the throne of God. For consider him that endured such contradiction of sinners against himself, lest ye be wearied and faint in your minds. –Hebrews 12:2-3 (KJV)

Looking unto Jesus! Why the focus? You see it right there. He is the author and the finisher. Your life is like a book. Each year is like a chapter. 2022 is a chapter. It has been authored. He has authored great and mighty things about your life!

So you have to focus on Him in order to be consistent with what is in the book concerning your relationship life. In that book, there is no compromise, no fornication, or any other form of sexual perversion. So you must abstain from all these in order to have your destiny aligned with His plan for your life!

I want you to read verse 3 carefully in The Message Translation:

When you find yourselves flagging in your faith, go over that story again, item by item, that long litany of hostility he plowed through. That will shoot adrenaline into your souls! –Hebrews 12:3 (MSG)

At those times when you get weak along the way, and your faith begins to flag, you focus on Him and His word, read it and study it, meditate on it and you will get some shots of adrenaline to your soul!

This day, I pray for you, God will strengthen you and honour you as you focus on Him in Jesus name!

CONFESSION FOR THE DAY
I acknowledge you Lord as the Lord over my life, I say today that you are the most important person in my life and relationship

PRAYER FOR THE DAY
Father, in Jesus’ name I ask for a heart that loves and worships you. Make my focus be on you continually, Lord.

THOUGHT FOR THE DAY
Looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith; who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is set down at the right hand of the throne of God. For consider him that endured such contradiction of sinners against himself, lest ye be wearied and faint in your minds. –Hebrews 12:2-3 (KJV)

ACTION PLAN FOR THE DAY
Make a commitment to spent time daily in prayers, worship, and reading God’s word. Also start attending a good bible believing church.

How To Build Your Marriage Through Honour

How To Build Your Marriage Through Honour

Reading Time: 2 minutes

COUPLES –

Do you honour God daily? Do you know that there is a relationship between honouring God and making your marriage work?

When you honour God, trust me, you are going to have His favour and mercy work for you in every way. In the same way, when you dishonour God, things are going to get real though. The ways of a transgressor are hard.

How do you honour God?

Read, study and meditate on God’s word regularly. You need that for your spiritual health. Have it regimented into your life and do it daily. Start your day with that. That is simply honouring God!

Go to church. Fellowship with believers! That is simply honouring God!

Pay your tithe. Give to God. That is simply honouring God!

Somebody says, “I am confused in my marriage. The panacea is God’s word. It will cause light to shine over your soul. It will give you direction and lead you on the right path.

Do you have troubles in your marriage? The answer is in God’s word, not in weeping profusely or looking for pity parties. Stop getting depressed daily, rather get energized in God’s word!

Do you also know that just by staying in God’s word, you can avoid adulterous relationships?

Decide to honour God in your marriage and you will see Him come to your aid.

Selah!

CONFESSION FOR THE DAY
God’s word is a lamp unto my feet and a light unto my path.

PRAYERS FOR THE DAY
Open my eyes to wondrous truths in your word, O Lord

THOUGHT FOR THE DAY
Psalms 119:105 [MSG] By your words I can see where I’m going; they throw a beam of light on my dark path.

ACTION PLAN FOR THE DAY
Get into God’s word now and ask the Holy Spirit to open your eyes.

The Doorway To Your Thoughts

The Doorway To Your Thoughts

Reading Time: 3 minutes

SINGLES- The Doorway To Your Thoughts

Thank God I am not God!  If I were God, probably a lot of folks would have met me up there – “Today, thou shall meet me in Paradise!” And really, thank God you are not God too! Oh my, my…It would have been serious. God is just, truthful, and full of righteousness. His thoughts are different from ours.

If I were God, sincerely, some of the portions of the Bible would not be there. I will not include the adulterous fling and murder committed by our beloved King David; neither will I include the visits to prostitutes of our Macho Man, Samson.

But God in His unfathomable wisdom knew it is the truth that will set us free. A lot of people would not have been set free from suicidal guilt over what they have done, but upon learning that God gave David and Samson a second chance, they realized that there was still hope for them.

But what was the genesis of their problems? You wouldn’t believe one of the things I found out here!

Their eyes! This becomes more interesting when you put in mind that men are moved by sight, one of The Doorway To Your Thoughts. Check out the following scriptures:

And it came to pass in an evening tide, that David arose from off his bed, and walked upon the roof of the king’s house: and from the roof he SAW a woman washing herself; and the woman was very beautiful to look upon.  –2Samuel 11:2 (KJV)

What of Samson?

And Samson went down to Timnath, and SAW a woman in Timnath of the daughters of the Philistines.  –Judges 14:1 (KJV)

Then went Samson to Gaza, and SAW there a harlot, and went in unto her. –Judges 16:1 (KJV)

What really made Amnon rape her sister, Tamar?

So Tamar went to her brother Amnon’s house, and he was laid down. And she took flour, and kneaded it, and made cakes in HIS SIGHT

…he would not hearken unto her voice: but, being stronger than she, forced her, and lay with her.  –2Samuel 13:8,14 (KJV)

From all these, there are two things.

1. Men, watch what you see

2. Ladies, watch what is seen.

How are the guys supposed to achieve this? Never look again? Well, you are permitted to admire, but not desire. There is a difference between a first glance and then a serious look!

There is a difference between looking and getting obsessed with what you see in your thoughts.

No wonder Job said:

I made a covenant with mine eyes; why then should I think upon a maid? –Job 31:1 (KJV)

Another translation says:

I promised myself never to stare with desire at a young woman. –Job 31:1 (CEV)

So what are we supposed to do with our eyes?

My son, attend to my words; incline thine ear unto my sayings. Let them not depart from thine eyes; keep them in the midst of thine heart. –Proverbs 4:20-21 (KJV)

No wonder Jesus Christ said:

The light of the body is the eye: if therefore thine eye be single, thy whole body shall be full of light. –Matthew 6:22 (KJV)

Pornography begins with what you see one day. The seed of fornication is planted when you see what stirs lust.

The sin of masturbation is achieved with what you have seen and stored up in your mind.

I guess this is why God said the book of the Law shall not depart from your eyes. When you keep looking at God’s word, you will not be seeing wrong things! The Doorway To Your Thoughts

CONFESSION FOR THE DAY
My eyes are riveted on God’s word. I love God’s word. I am not obsessed with lust as a result of what I see. I have the mind of Christ. My utmost desire will be towards my husband/wife and not towards any other.

PRAYERS FOR THE DAY
I destroy every spirit of lust in my life in Jesus Name, I receive help from the Holy Spirit to understand His Word.

THOUGHT FOR THE DAY
I promised myself never to stare with desire at a young woman. (Job 31:1 CEV)

ACTION PLAN FOR THE DAY
Decide never to stare at seductively dressed ladies. Decide not to see films and movies that have nude scenes.

BIBLE READING FOR THE DAY
2King 24-25
