President Muhammadu Buhari has approved the recently appointed heads of federal government agencies replacements, as ministers.
A statement by Malam Garba Shehu, the president’s spokesman, in Abuja on Tuesday, said Senator Basheer Garba Mohammed was appointed federal commissioner, National Commission for Refugees, Migrants and Internally Displaced Persons.
The News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) reports that Sadiya Umar Farouk, a minister-designate from Zamfara state replaced Mohammed.
According to the statement, Kashifu Inuwa Abdullahi is now Director General/CEO, National Information Technology Development Agency while Dr Chioma Ejikeme has been appointed Executive Secretary, Pension Transitional Arrangement Directorate, replacing Sharon O. Ikeazor.
“For Executive Commissioner (Stakeholder Management), Nigerian Communications Commission (NCC), President Buhari has forwarded Adeleke Moronfolu Adewolu’s name to the Senate for confirmation as replacement for Sunday Akin Dare.
The appointments take immediate effect,’’ the statement added.

Meanwhile, Legit.ng reported previously that ministers-designate and other presidential appointees on Tuesday were told by President Buhari to submit any request meant for him to his Chief of Staff, Mallam Abba Kyari and all executive matters to the Secretary to the Government of the Federation (SGF) Boss Mustapha.
“In terms of coordination, kindly ensure that all submissions for my attention or meeting requests be channeled through the chief of staff, while all federal executive council matters be coordinated through the secretary to the government of the federation,” he said.
