Nnamdi Kanu, the Leader of The Indigenous People of Biafra, IPOB reacted to the claim made by the spokeman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Festus Keyamo stating that WAEC certificate is not needed in becoming the President of Nigeria.
During an interview held on Sunday, Keyamo claimed that WAEC certificate is not relevant under the constitution for one to become President. Stating that if a person had in time past occupied a public office for a considerable number of time, then WAEC certificate is not needed.
To this claim, Nnamdi Kanu on Monday called the Nigeria Law a ‘joke’ in a tweet. Stating that it calls for serious concern when First School Leaving Certificate and School Certificate are not known by the so called Judges, Lawyers and Senior Advocates.
“Law in Nigeria is a joke! No School Certificate (WAEC) no Presidency, Period!”
