Recently, a mother of three, Krystal Preston took to Facebook to share about how she experienced hard times with days “filled with so many tears, anger, confusion and heart ache.”
She later told ABC8 that she hadn’t had a car, and therefore had no way to get to work or transport her children.
This made her son william look for a way to help his mother through the money he was earning from his neighborhood lawn mowing and yard cleaning businesses.
According to ABC8, after seeing videos of others surprising their moms with vehicles, he was inspired to do the same. He then took to Facebook, where he saw a woman selling a 1999 Chevrolet Metro. Without his mom knowing, he reached out about the car.
William told ABC8, he said “It was really cheap, so I asked her if I could trade the Xbox or earn it, and at first she said no. And after she thought about it, then she said yes,”
Negotiations were made to settle the deal, and on a day that seemed like any other, Preston got the surprise of her life. William came home from what his mom thought was one of his typical jobs—only to hear the words, “Mom, I bought you a car,” according to her Facebook post.
