Phil 4:4, NIV
Rejoice in the Lord always. I will say it again: Rejoice!
It’s a new month. Glory to God. It’s a fresh day to go over God’s promises over your children and all that concerns them.
This month of August, God wants you and your children to rejoice. Rejoice in all situations and circumstances. Go over the good things God has done for your children and let them thank God for it.
It is very easy to lose focus and keep your gaze on the things God has not done. As parents, we should re-direct the gaze and thoughts of our children to thanksgiving and rejoicing.
My children rejoice. They are joyful regardless of what’s going on in and around them.
